Let me clarify...

Fast Lane is supposed to be added to a working/complete copy of the public version of DSD+. Did you ever have one of those? I ask because if you did, you would have the lame_enc DLL file. It's in that download named "DSDPlus v1.101 DLL Files" on the dsdplus.com website. The libusb-1.0 DLL file is in it as well.

ok what is does this mean
INSTALLATION FROM AN OFFICIAL RELEASE:

Please read chapter 10 "Installation and Customization" of the manual.
In short:

./configure
make
make install

INSTALLATION FROM THE GIT REPOSITORY:

First, install these programs:

ocaml, ocamlbuild, autoconf, automake, indent, and libtool,

Then, execute

sh bootstrap.sh
make

The bootstrap.sh script runs configure directly, but if you need to
re-run configure, you must pass the --enable-maintainer-mode flag:

./configure --enable-maintainer-mode [OTHER CONFIGURE FLAGS]
I got this from the dsd fastlane file

I started with DSDplus then added the fast lane update then added the missing usb file then added ftp://ftp.fftw.org/pub/fftw/fftw-3.3.5-dll32.zip as directed.. I think
ok now for the results seeing I am pretty lost at the moment.. I am supposed to edit FMP24 file to direct it towards a freq 856.7375 my local sheriff dept....
I just tried to open DSD plus no go missing some lame_enc dll file
ok now for FMP24 lib usb file missing Thought i already did that??
And not a single clue what any of these files do... I get advice from you kind folks and I just do with no clue why or what the end result is
Sorry guys Im lost bout ready to delete everything and start over again...

From the notes

1: If you do not have a DSD+ folder set up yet, go to DSDPlus.com and download
the most recent public version of DSD+ (currently 1.101); also download the
DLL package.

It means you are reading something for Linux for some reason. What is it you are doing???

It is very simple

If you are a new Fast Lane member:

If you already have a DSD+ 1.101 folder set up, skip step 1.

1: If you do not have a DSD+ folder set up yet, go to DSDPlus.com and download
the most recent public version of DSD+ (currently 1.101); also download the
DLL package.

Unzip all of the files to a folder on your PC. We recommend using C:\DSDPlus.

2: You should also download this file:

ftp://ftp.fftw.org/pub/fftw/fftw-3.3.5-dll32.zip

Extract the libfftw3f-3.dll file from the zipfile
(it is the largest file in the zipfile) and copy it to your DSD+ folder.

3: Your Fast Lane update will contain all of the current Fast Lane files.
ALL of these files should be copied to your DSD+ 1.101 folder.
That folder will then be your DSD+ Fast Lane folder.

You don't click on the DSDPlus file. If you read you will see you launch batch files. These need to be edited with notepad to put in your frequency and dongle info ect.

Seems like you should do some reading in the notes.txt - and stop clicking on stuff LOL

DSD+ is trying to TCP link to FMP24, so run FMP24. You should've started DSD+ by clicking on the 1R.bat file.

Run FMP24 by clicking on the FMP24-CC.bat file. Tune FMP24 to the P25 control channel. Just type the frequency into the spectrum display window and press Enter. Things should start happening.

When I open FMP24cc bat file it first opens a command promt page then the spectrum shows up...
I have been working in my DSD plus fastlane file''
I just typed the 856.7375 into the and hit enter yes it went to that freq but I see no control channel spike in spectrum and nothing from speakers
as a side note here for more info..... I opened SDR sharp and went to the control freq and I see no signal there either.
I was able to tune to this and hear it about a week ago...with unitrunker....
I am using dipole antennas that came with my RTL v3 blogsthey are with in inches of the same place they wer

If that is a clear AM or FM (no digital) the DSD+ will block it out unless you include -m1 in the DSD+ startup bat.

FMP24 isn't talking to your speakers. It's talking to DSD+. If you want to hear that stuff, select Monitor Source Audio if No Sync and Signal Present in the DSD+ Input menu.
