If you look at the Moto Type II control channel in the zoomed in spectral display, it should look like bat wings forming spikes/ears at each of the two FSK signalling frequencies. A P25 control signal will visually look the same as the P25 traffic channel signals, with an overall rounded appearance.

No. As mentioned before, you must compile JMBE yourself. Nobody is going to make that publicly available to you.

Can you post the error message that you're seeing? Maybe we can help you to build the library.

When activating make_jmbe_library_windows file
A message appears and disappear quickly I could not read it
It was create a folder named jmpe inside another folder named (.get)
Jmpe put the folder inside the folder sdrtrunk_20160101_0929_0.2.0. beta2
Then ran View run_sdrtrunk_windows

Sameehosen,

You have a couple issues with your setup.

1) Download the latest Version 0.2.0 beta 8 software: https://github.com/DSheirer/sdrtrunk/releases

2) When using P25/C4FM decoder, you can't use the analog aux decoders. Uncheck 'Enabled' and hit save to stop the channel. In the 'Aux' tab, uncheck the Fleetsync, LJ1200, MDC1200 and Tait 1200 decoders and then hit save. Finally, click 'Enabled' and hit save to restart the channel.

3) Download the latest JMBE builder software Version 0.3.2 Update 1: https://github.com/DSheirer/jmbe/releases

4) Unzip the JMBE builder and execute the build script. The script will pause at the end allowing you to see if there were any errors. Please post those errors here.

Have you downloaded and installed the Java Development Kit for your version of Windows and set the JAVA_HOME variable?

I to am having issues. I did download the kit. How do you set the JAVA_HOME?

I ran the builder and it tells me,
STEP 1 FAILED add the jdk installation to your PATH environment variable. Bla Bla Bla

My bin is in C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_74\bin

the only path I see is set to the same.

Below is pic showing my installed java location, my PATH, the file jmbe-interface-0.3.2.jar in my sdrtrunk folder, and the builders error message.

Mine says JAVA_HOME and C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_74. Are you saying the 64 bit is screwed up?

Two Java setup tasks are required to build the JMBE library:

1) Add the JAVA_HOME environment variable that points to your Java JDK installation (without the bin directory)

JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_74
This is specific to your computer - where you installed the JDK

2) Edit your PATH environment variable to include your JDK bin directory. These are just shortcuts for windows to find the program by its name instead of forcing you to type the full directory path. Your path entry for java should be the same directory that you set for JAVA_HOME, but with a /bin/ on the end of it.

PATH = SOME_PATH_A;SOME_PATH_B;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_74\bin;SOME_MORE_PATH_C;...

You can then test that your PATH variable is setup correctly by typing both commands::

Code:

java - version 
javac - version

NOTE: if you previously setup your path variable to point to the Java JRE, you have to change it to point to the Java JDK version. The JDK version has everything needed to run java programs like sdrturnk and everything needed to compile/build programs like the JMBE library. The java program runs your software and the javac program compiles your source code.

And it did not succeed to build the file from the folder

You need to copy jmbe-0.3.2 (executable Jar file) into the same windows folder folder you have SDRTRunk installed in. This is normal, it has to be manually done.

S U C C E S S

Everything was set as you described above. Java worked but javac did not. Searched pc for javac and it yeilded no results.

GOT FED UP ! ! ! !

TOOK ACTION ! ! ! !

UNINSTALLED ALL JAVA ! ! ! !

Started over.... Installed this java Download Free Java Software

Then this Java SE Development Kit 8u74 for 64bit Java SE Development Kit 8 - Downloads

Now I have these as PATHS,
JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_74\
And my PATH = C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_74\bin\

I ran the Jmbe builder. It did its thing...said failed to load org.s1f4j.impl.StaticLoggerBinder bla bla bla. (see pic below)

I copied jmbe-0.3.2.jar over to sdrtrunk folder anyway.

Loaded sdrtrunk, says jmbe audio conversion library successfully loaded.

A W E S O M E I have sound for the first time... Wow I have clear digital audio being decoded. Sounds pretty good..

I also have audio when there is ENC Is there a way to lock out Enc audio?
