Mike, thanks very much for helping out!
Well, sorta. I finally got it to decode a control channel, but every time it moves to the voice channel, it just stays there and never goes back to the control channel. Do I need more CPU? Or do I have to enter every frequency/channel manually?
The system: Baltimore City Trunking System, Baltimore, Maryland - Scanner Frequencies
The software will continue to decode the control channel. As each voice channel is allocated, the software will automatically adjust the tuner's center frequency so that the tuner can source both the control channel and the traffic channel(s), as long as all of the channels fit within the tuner's bandwidth/sample rate. It will only adjust the center tuned frequency if it needs to.

(sdrtrunk_0.2.0-beta.7.zip)Denny,
What is the executable I need to download to start running SDRtrunk?
There are multiple files shown on the google code site.
Thanks,
Chris
I have everything working including audio on my local P25 P1 system and I don't see any events population. Is there a software switch to turn this on?Denny & everyone.... Here is screenshot that was taken from my MacPro this morning with SDRTrunk fully up and running with aliases copied direct from my windows machine. Computer crashed once, but not exactly sure why as right now it has been running and decoding P25 audio perfectly since 6:45 am this morning.

Thanks rjdj & Vince48. It does work.Just checked my setup and any of the boxes were not checked. You click on the area where it shows the control channel then you will see the event list that is populated and in the messages tab there will be information scrolling past.
I posted the downloadable JMBE builder scripts as a release product on the JMBE website:
https://github.com/DSheirer/jmbe/releases
And I updated the sdrtrunk JMBE wiki page to point to this same release page:
https://github.com/DSheirer/sdrtrunk/wiki/JMBE
cheers,
Denny
I updated the JMBE builder program to provide a bit more user feedback and offer solutions when your system is not configured correctly to compile the code. If you've already successfully built the jmbe-0.3.2.jar then you do NOT need to run this script again.
The download links above are still valid.

I am using Beta 7 now. I was able to get the audio up again with reloading JDK and re-compiling the JMBE jar file. Now I have P25 audio with a major amount of reverb. Pretty funny actually.Chuck,
Yes, we were having lots of issues with the audio playback panel prior to beta 7.
Which version are you using? I just posted version 0.2.0.beta8 this morning.
Did you see any errors in the console window? If so, can you send me the error report, or send me the appllication.log?

Denny, I just got my Airspy. Loading drivers was not easy. However I got it working fine in SDR-Console. SDR Trunk recognizes it, but locks up after 10 or so seconds. I've uploaded the error section of the GUI start console.
The whole reason I bought this is for your great program. Can you shed any light?
Thanks, Chuck

Thanks again for your help. The only way to go 64 bit is with a clean install. I will likely not be able to run many current programs. I also have spent a considerable amount of time and energy getting this PC working perfectly. The upgrade is not going to happen. Here is a question though. When you finally add support for SDR play, will it work as well as it does now or will I run into the same problem with SDRTrunk?Chuck,
I saw in your other post that you're using Windows 10, 32-bit edition on an i7 with 8 GB of RAM. Do you know if windows is able to use the full 8 GB of RAM, or is it only using 4 GB?
According to Microsoft https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/li...vs.85).aspx#physical_memory_limits_windows_10, the 32-bit edition can only use a maximum of 4GB.
If that's true, then Windows will only give Java a maximum of half (2GB) of that memory to use, or even less if Windows is already using a good bit of the available memory.
Apparently you can upgrade from Windows 10 32-bit edition to the 64-bit edition:
How to migrate to Windows 10 64 bit from 32 bit versions of Windows - Microsoft Community
If it doesn't already, upgrading to 64-bit edition would allow your computer to use the full 8 GB of RAM

Denny, one more question. Even if I upgrade to 16GB of Memory, will I sill only be limited to 4 GB?
That's correct. A 32-bit operating system only has memory address space for 2 to the 32 power ( 4,294,967,296 ) or roughly 4 GB.
