As a developer myself, I do understand your point of view. But as a user, on the other hand, I want and have my eyes on the most feature-rich software. AM does not require a ton of work (which you already did by the way) and development. So, a piece of legacy code to bring in your feature releases may not be as bad as you think.
I recently did switch to your software just because it offered me so much in just one piece, whereas before I used at least two, and some of them do require a third piece of software just to use them both in combination. Not to mention the complexity and limitations of setting everything up. And that's where sdrtrunk shines the most – just how easy it is to utilize and combine all available SDRs. Now add to that the available decoders, and we are on the straight line to the race for the best decoding software out there!
Of course, I'm not saying that you should bring all available legacy decoders out there, but man, AM is an up-to-date modulation that is being used all around the world and is wanted by a whole bunch of enthusiasts out there!
My two cents – give AM a second chance
