Are you trying to append another site to a system (in a Favorites list) that was originally created by appending from the main database in Sentinel?

Do you want to add another talkgroup to the trunked system, another frequency to the site, or another site? If you want to add a conventional frequency, you need to enter that in a conventional system.

Yes, but no matter what I do, the freq. won't show up, cannot append from the list, Simulcast system, It shows the town when you look at the Marcs system, but then when you append, the town freq go away, but the talk groups are there, but no freq. so ... P25 system, in Ohio didn't know if there was a way to manually put the freq. I can do it with my TRX 2, I don't remember this issue before when I programmed the first time with my sds 200

Simulcast system, MARCS system, freq won't append to talkgroup I am trying to make, TGID show, but no P25 Freq will, tried to download the whole MARCS system and narrow it down, but they do not show up.

When you first append a system, using Sentinel, from the main database to a Favorites list, you can carefully select the Departments that you want. You cannot select individual sites; Sentinel will append all of the sites in the system, along with the selected department(s). For a statewide system, such as MARCS, or a large regional system, this can be a much larger number of sites than you expected.

See this post regarding what's happening. The system I used for the examples is a large regional system here in Texas, but the same behavior and results apply when you are dealing with your statewide system, MARCS.

Talkgroups do not have frequencies. They have talkgroup ID's (in DEC column of database). Frequencies for trunked systems go into the sites. Conventional frequencies go into conventional systems. You have me thoroughly confused what you are trying to do.

Totally confused by the description of what you say you are trying to do. Frequencies cannot be added to talkgroups in any way shape or form in any radio or system.

One more question this with a nother similar question, OHIO Marcs,, Montgomery County, Fire EMS I appends MCSO fire ems BUT I dont know how to tell it DAYTON it takes the whole sate on MARCS now can I delete all the remaining to see if dayton is left and try it that WAY??

You should be able to press hold under DEPT and scroll to the Montgomery County or Dayton channel group.
