Are you looking specifically for the waterfall protocol? I actually figured it out before I received the updated protocol list. The updated protocol list confirmed what I knew already. How I did it was by sending AAA to ZZZ to the scanner and watching the returned data.

You effectively built a fuzzer for the protocol list. Brilliant.

There is unless management approves it for public release. Many things have NDA requirements and cannot be made public.

As I mentioned, their comments were a little cryptic when I asked for it for Bob and asked if it can be released to the public.
Thanks for checking . I was glad to see the listing was available back in 2018, but if needed, who do I contact to get a NDA?

Updated to the newest firmware (1.23.05) Took care of the flipped spectrum on 507.1875 that I mentioned to Joe.
I also had mentioned that the waterfall mode was decoding weak signals , yet if they were being monitored in a memory channel, they won't decode. I found that the NORM filter was comparable to the waterfall, but turning ON the IFX made the memory channel now decode the weak signal, where if IFX is OFF, it doesn't decode a weak signal. Looks like all my digitals will have IFX ON

Do you know if that will work on a Trunked site frequency??

It will work on any frequency. To test, and you see the frequency from the display or know the frequency, then stop scan by the Channel button, enter the frequency followed by the Channel button. If you have the display configured to show IFX it will indicate if IFX are on or off and you do Function+7 to toggle it. When you have a frequency figured out you can either read the scanner using Sentinel and all IFX's you have done will end up in the profile, or you can enter them manually into Sentinels profile each time you have done one IFX.

IFX for a frequency will be global, anywhere that the frequency exist in the scanner will be set to IFX.

Any EDACS/ProVoice monitors here who have done the latest firmware update?
The first one that came out with the waterfall made my scanner unusable, I am afraid to try another.

One thing that I noticed with these Firmware Updates: The Encrypted TGs on the Henderson, KY Simulcast system now display the TG ID whereas before they would just flash and not stay on for the conversation. Granted you still don't get the audio..

This makes me wonder if the issue of displaying TG info with no audio on a NON encrypted system is because it gets confused if it is clear or encrypted.
