I want to make connection via FTP with my Uniden SDS200E.
I've activated FTP in the scanner, activate Read-account (anonymous/or user with password)
I've activates Write account. (note the same names and passwords)
I tried to make connection with the scanner via PRoScan 24.4 No success.
I tried to make connection with FileZilla.
Read with anonymous established a connection
Write gave a "530 Not logged in" status.

On the scanner is the latest firmware present.
My PC in a Windows 11 Pro
My scanner is connected in a LAN (192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0 network)

Remote control via LAN is working well with ProScan. so...

What I'm doing wrong?

Thanks ProScan,
As said:
As Read Only a have anonymous with no password and
As Write account i use the default in the radio what is user: uniden with password: scanner.

Instead of using anonymous i tried a different name with a password.
In both situations without any result.

"530 Not logged in"
That is expected on the Write account.

Before using FileZilla, on the Write account, you need to send "EFM,UNIDEN" using either ProScan like in this image or send it with a terminal emulator.

Thanks.
I send EFM,UNIDEN and the scanner response is EFM,OK but although no way to get in to the FTP server. Not with ProScan nor with FileZilla.
In ProScan Error Reading From The Scanner.

When i connect the scanner with the provided USB cable it enters the "USB Mass Storage" mode.
In File explorer i see the drive popup but the name of the map stored on the micro-SD Card is "BCDx36HP" although i entered the correct Scanner Type in ScanPro (SDS200E). is that correct?

What does the message say in your post#1 in English, after WebException?
Try to get the Read the favorites working first.
Double and triple check the user name and password.
You may want to temporarily disable any antivirus software to see if that's the culprit.

It says; Unable to connect to the remote server.
Oke, Read first.
I login with ProScan with User Name "anonymous" and no password.
The scanner reboots ( no checkmark to Put Scanner in Mass Storage enabled)
No result.
When i try it with FileZilla and first send EFM,UNIDEN and then connect in FileZilla with User Name "anonymous" and no password.
Positive result.

DISREGARD THIS
Click the "Auto Detect IP Scanners" button in the 1st image then see if the window pops up and the scanner is listed in the 2nd image. if so, see if the IP in the 1st image matches the 2nd image.

EFM,UNIDEN is not need when reading, just writing.

@ProScan First of all, Thanks you for your willingness to help!
I disabled the firewall and antivirus software. Concentrating on READ only. Double checked the User Name & Password.
I put the scanner in Mass Storage Mode and see "favorites_lists.
But but does have something to do with the permissions of those files like scanner.inf etc?

When i hit Log In (FTP Read Favorites From The Scanner) i get an Error Reading From The Scanner (scanner.inf)
Although scanner.inf is Present

I'm out of ideals. Only thing I can think of is it's a SDS200E model and there's something unique with the firmware.

I guess it's possible.

I guess it's possible.
What i tried till so far and worked!
I've made an successful connection with FileZilla with the following method.

When I make a connection with the Writable Account I first
send a GFM,UNIDEN protocol command to the scanner with ProScan.
Then start FileZilla FTP Client.
Connect via Writable Account. result a successful connection.
After I'm done in the FileZilla FTP Client, I send a EFM,UNIDEN command to the scanner with ProScan.

When I connect with the Read Only Account via FileZilla it's successful.
The SDS200 should NOT be in FTP mode.

But that's all with FileZilla.
Why it still not working with ProScan (24.4) I hope one day... ;-)
