Yup there is any audio issue and I bought Proscan and can't figure out on how to get my audio working. My ProScan software is working and connected but no audio no matter what right now.
I am trying to get Proscan connected to my SDS200 to send my RR feed. I can connect Proscan to the scanner to see the display but cannot connect for audio. 192.168.1.2 is my scanner's IP and it is "reserved" by the router. Both my computer and my scanner are on the same network and behind the firewall. What am I doing wrong?
I've seen this a few times with the SDS200. Try the following:
1. Insure no other apps such as VLC are connected to the SDS200 LAN audio.
2a. Power cycle the scanner.
2b. Retest the audio.
3a. In the scanner menu, go to the Settings -> LAN Settings -> Set IP Assignment then change the Auto or Manual to Disable.
3b. Exit the menu and let the scanner restart.
3c. Go into the menu Set IP Assignment again and change it back to what it was before. Either Auto or Manual.
3d. Exit the menu and let the scanner restart.
3e. Retest the audio.
I've heard of step 3 fixed the problem for one person.
Please provide feedback if it works or doesn't work.
Are you running AVG anti-virus software by any chance? That is known to interrupt TCP traffic.Still no dice. No matter how many times I reset LAN settings, reboot the scanner and restart Proscan, I get the same error. When I select "Auto Detect IP Scanners" under the "URL Audio Setup & Monitor" tab, it finds my SDS200 with the corresponding IP address. However, after hitting "Reconnect" , it still says "TCP Not Connected" and "UDP Not Connected"
Nope
Those are simply the defaults for most consumer routers. I never use the defaults so mine are not even close, but still private IPs.Just a bit odd most often they are
192.168 0.xxx
Or
192.168.1.xxx

Nothing at all, it's a CIDR address as long as it starts with 192.168It's just an IP address. What's wrong with it?
CIDR isn't contained only in addresses starting with 192.168. I might be misunderstanding what you're saying.Nothing at all, it's a CIDR address as long as it starts with 192.168

Correct, be we are in the context of consumer/home networks.CIDR isn't contained only in addresses starting with 192.168. I might be misunderstanding what you're saying.
I will try that. I also plan on installing on another pc running another version of windowsThis is what I had to do. Remove the ProScan activation on the pc. Uninstall ProScan with revo uninstaller it will want you to scan for remnants of ProScan I clicked advanced and then scan and then deleted everything it found.Restarted the computer and reinstalled ProScan. After reactivation on the PC set everything back up and hit start on the RSOIP and got the prompt below clicked allow and had audio. Again I do not know if this will solve everyone's problem but it did mine.![]()
You will, hang in there. As others have said, uninstall, delete, go back to square one. Then carefully follow the tutorials step by step. I don't remember all the details, but not following all the steps in order can definitely cause the issues discussed here.I want to buy the full version of Proscan but not until I can get the trial version to work, lol.

Right and home networks don't need to start with 192.168 either. I guess I am missing your point.Correct, be we are in the context of consumer/home networks.
