Got to the monitor and test tab and click loop back.

Good to know. Just trying to get use to this software and dialing it in. Next thing will be is to setup the port forwarding and get my radio to see the outside world for me remotely. This will be the next step this weekend. Thanks

Yes you can do all that you are wanting to do and you are going to love the Proscan / SDS200 combination. I love being able to control and listen to my SDS200 hooked to my outdoor antenna anywhere I am, even on my cell phone if I want. Most of the time I'm controlling it from a third monitor in my office at work. Response time on commands with RSOIP is nearly instantaneous.

So I have a couple of questions. So I gave my SDS-200 a static address of 192.168.7.245

So the Proscan software on my computer is working with no issues. Now I am trying to share it out to the internet and I have a basic understanding on the process a bit.

My question is do I do the port forwarding of the radio static IP address or share out the port forwarding of my computer that its hooked up to?

I have a mesh network EERO nodes and I can make changes on my app on my phone. On the port forwarding its giving me the external port and internal ports I can give it a numerical numbers for both. Also, I can choose the protocol eith TCP & UDP, or just TCP or just UDP.

Any help would be great. This is the next baby step to get it shared out to the internet. Thanks

Where is God's name did you come up with that static IP? Also the port forwarding is for the computer and the port you wish it to use.

Well the IP address was default with the 192.168.7. was default with the EERO mesh network by default. I set a static range from 235 - 245 for any static address I may want to use.

Use the computer IP address, and the port the RSOIP(or Web Server) is set at, and TCP only. That's it.

Try the following:

Server side
1. Insure the capture side level meters move with audio in the Audio Control -> RSOIP tab.

Client side
2. Check the playback level controls are in the middle (0 dB) position in the Audio Control -> RSOIP tab.
3. Try changing the Output Sound Device in the Audio Control -> RSOIP tab.
4. Insure the computer speakers are turned up.

I hooked up my BCD996P2 radio and it works and scans but no sound either. I get this error message in Proscan. I was able to hear audio earlier on the loop back but never remotely. proscan.PNG

That's the Recorder Input Sound Device. That error comes from the OS. The "-1" Input ID is normal. Not sure why that is happening but don't mess with the Recorder for now. I would recheck the RSOIP to see if the same error on the capture side first. If same error, try restarting ProScan. If persist then try rebooting the computer to see if it resolves.

Had the same problem awhile back. Used revo Uninstaller to remove the program. Reinstalled and all worked fine. Not sure if that will help but just throwing it out there.

I am trying to get Proscan connected to my SDS200 to send my RR feed. I can connect Proscan to the scanner to see the display but cannot connect for audio. 192.168.1.2 is my scanner's IP and it is "reserved" by the router. Both my computer and my scanner are on the same network and behind the firewall. What am I doing wrong?
