Hearing repeated automated voice radio testing "Test 1...Test 1...Test 1..." over and over again from 453.800 TGID 16777215, Slot-2, CC14 with RAS. Any future plans for Septa migrating over to DMR?

And yet the phantom P25 data bursts continue from the remaining frequencies on the license, NAC293 with no voice traffic ever logged

System locations are very consistent with bus operations.. by the way, listening to SEPTA police loud and clear on 502 MHz.

Guess it's time to load them all up in the recording rotation to see what pops up...

453.050 MHz is going to be tough find in analog because of this:

Logging analog activity now from radio techs (humans this time, no automation), same frequency (453.800) PL 131.8. Testing radios at various Septa stops along the Norristown HSL (Hughes Park, Gulph Mills, Matson Ford...)

Both of these links reference a 700MHz P25 Phase 2 system as the replacement for the current T Band TRS.

Of course, this project has been lingering for a long while now....

I believe that the P25 NAC 293 that I'm hearing, belongs to Brick Twp., Ocean County, NJ, but I'm not sure.

The 453.800 131.8 PL was fairly consistent last week at various SEPTA stops. They mentioned MacDade Blvd in Delco, at one point.

I received alternating 131.8 PL & 141.3 PL on 453.800, but no voice was heard on 141.3 PL. There were also periods of static on both.

Likely not. I wouldn't be receiving Brick Twp full signal (or at all) from Montco PA. Those repeaters burst data with that NAC every couple of seconds (453.050, 453.150, 453.200, 453.750). Looking at the RIDs you logged they seem to coincide with the Septa CCT bus numbering scheme (6000 series) They used to have talkgroups on the T-band TRS but I've been sitting on that department for about 15 minutes now and nary a peep. I'm guessing the UIDs you logged are fully encrypted? Never really sat on them long enough to log any activity. I'll try throwing them all into SDRTrunk and observe the logs

Thanks for the info John!

I was winging it on that one!

I didn't see that SEPTA was licensed for P25, but I could be wrong.

I only get short 1-2 second blips when I receive everything, except for 453.800.
