Ok, thanks. I thought I had seen that somewhere before just couldn't remember. I dont have any software based trunk decoding but I have been wayching it when I come rail fanning down there. What I have been seeing popup on my 325 as voice channels recently are 453.3, 453.875, 453.7375, 453.6, & 460.45.

Berkeley Co. Event 2 TG1159

I've been hearing traffic today that sounds like security. RIDs are Berkeley Co. I'm thinking ERJ or VA Center but the RIDs would possibly be different. If it is one of those, I wonder if they are borrowing county radios because of an issue with their own radios and/or tower/repeater.

Could also be Vickie Douglas in Martinsburg. They are running vehicle tags.

I just moved to WV and I have a Trunk tracker Pro-96 and I just purchased a premium sub to RR and I was wondering if the Pro-96 will receive the SIRN system?
I also have a sub to DSD

It will receive any site that doesn't have PHase II traffic on it. That's most sites down in into WV. But, if you want to monitor the Northern Panhandle it would be problematic as you would not be able to hear any of the phase II traffic.

For instance, Beaver Falls, Weirton, Ohio Co SImulcast -- they all have phase II talkgroups in use. So you won't hear much of Brooke Co, WVSP, Ohio Co and Marshall Co. Any talkgroup marked in the DB as "T" for TDMA, would be something you likely would not hear.

Yes, Ohio Co Sheriff is TDMA (Phase II)

If the site(s) you want to monitor is/are simulcast, then your best option will probably be an SDS100, as other scanners often struggle with simulcast distortion.

I don't know what the E would stand for, but perhaps SRO is School Resource Officer.

A lot of guessing, but I'm guessing ESRO might be an Elementary school School Resource Officer
