Red Center still has them listed on their website but it has not been updated since Dec 12, 2016. I cannot hear them down here in Robertsville so I would not know they had moved. Thanks for the update. Also, Washington Twp FD is dispatched by Central Dispatch so it must be Alliance as well.
Very true on Washington, thanks for adding that.

On MARCS, Jackson Twp Fire was on MAC 05 FD working a fire early morning. One of the Jackson Township units accidentally tuned to TG 45080. REDCenter came on and told Jackson Twp Fire "Engine 5, you are on DISPATCH WEST"

So apparently 45080 is some sort of Fire Dispatch West ? I don't think there was any such thing on the old system.

Actually, the dispatcher only said you are on "Dispatch West". She said nothing about Fire. And, any other radios that have ever affiliated with that talkgroup are all police radio IDs (Navarre Police, Brewster Police). So, IF 45080 is PD DISPATCH WEST, I'm unsure what 45143 (PD1 DISP W) is all about.

45080 is some sort of "Dispatch West" though.

Testing this morning on 45158 & 45159 back to back. They gave nothing to identify agency. Since the overall TG list appears to be alphabetical, I am guessing Stark State College Security as they had two TG's on the old system.

Interesting - I live very close to you by St Barbs - I hope our location is not the issue. I always heard them loud and clear before the change to Marcs.
I live in the same neighborhood and only hear them once in a while. But I can hear them sometimes on old sumit channels. Comes in great by Massillon Walmart lol

It is so frustrating . I’m hopeful that thus may correct itself in the next several weeks or I’m may be needing to but a new scanner.

Have you tried using as little antenna as possible? Your HP because it is not capable of sorting out multiple signals on a simulcast system may be getting overwhelmed by strong signals. On my older digital scanners, I use the factory antenna completely collapsed and folded down. This may allow the scanner, depending on your location, to only receive signal from one tower.

Gobeit and Johnlotrean.. Our area is around 3.5 miles away from1255 Albrecht tower. Try pointing your antenna that way. It's the closest one to us.
JohnLoTrean .. When you are at Massillon Walmart, you say you can hear them. You are very close to the Albrecht tower. (map .. Tower to Walmart) .. On the map at the top left side is where we are.

45170 & 45171 tested today as channel 1 & 2 . Mentioned someone named Diane and Scott in Payroll who's extension is 4203.

Going with the latter for Stark State. Looked up the staff directory and there is a Scott with an extension of 4203 and there is a Diane in Security

Agreed. That information along with them talking about ATC (Advanced Technology Center) and the Business / Entrepreneur Center as well as testing some "Akron" radios also leads me to believe it. 45170 / 45171 have been added as Stark State College Security talkgroups.

I'm about 2.5 air miles from that tower. Shouldn't my bcd396t be able to pick up the tower with ease? Thanks

I would think if you’re inside the red circle [emoji837] you shouldn’t have a problem receiving, unless you’re living underground

OR, unless you are using a scanner that doesn't handle LSM. Discussions about difficulty copying LSM systems aren't bunk. It's a real issue for the majority of people monitoring simulcasts with scanners that do not specifically support simulcast. Being inside the circle, one is probably more likely to have simulcast issues than somebody outside the circle -- since somebody outside the circle is likely not picking as many towers as somebody inside the circle.

When it comes to simulcast systems, all bets are off -- unless you have a Unification pager/receiver, a Uniden SDS100/200, or a professional radio that supports LSM. Many people will not have "perceivable" issues using a scanner that doesn't support LSM, but many many people will have some sort of difficulty monitoring simulcast digital systems without a receiver that specifically supports LSM.

You likely get a great signal -- but it's a signal that the receiver doesn't know how to properly handle.

Mike, I live one and half miles from Summit. Last week I was in Akron and Green. I have wild card scanlist set up for Summit system. While the area I started receiving the Stark County talk groups. So when I returned home I set up a list with Summit Co CC & Ac talk groups and can now receive the Summit Co talk groups at my home along with OSP. Since the Stark Co system has been up I now have a Terrible time receiving Stark Co on the 700 freqs, but can receive them on the Summit Co system. I have an RS106 & RS 197 and a WS1080. When I am out nad about in Stark Co I receive everything fine.

I’m going to try that - thanks!
