Has anybody discovered if there are any neighbor/peer site reported by the New Castle simulcast cell? You would need to run Unitrunker, SDRTrunk or DSD to find them. It's possible that the old standalone sites have been integrated into the cell.

Hello,

Unitrunker reports Neighbor/Peer Sites as:

(CC) 853.0875 001-017
(CC) 853.6500 001-012
-012 is Kent; -017 is Hockessin (based on the cch). Did Wilmington or Winterthur ever peer with New Castle on the SZ system?

I took a short drive to some northern NCC sites with Unitrunker and HH in tow.

Wilmington City: No signs of P2 or any changes.

Winterthur: No signs of P2 or any changes. Appears to still be an IR, and perhaps untouched yet.

Hockessin: I found the simulcast freq's active +the P2 CC, not the IR freqs. No other CC activity, despite 853.575 being broadcast as a peer. Who knows what's going on.

Hello,

What's fascinating is Unitrunker reports RIDs from Montgomery County MD trying to affiliate being denied access. The NCCo and MontcCo sites are using same CCh Frequency.

Hello,

Yes. 853.9375 is also listed as a CCh for MontgoCo. Unitrunker reports 7 RIDs Denied Affiliation trying to affiliate to BEE00-8E0, SysID for MontgoCo.

That’s probably a Montgomery subscriber being aggressive about finding a control channel.

Programming Issue With this system State of Delaware P25
Not sure where to put this so I placed it here since I can't post it under Uniden Scanners

When Programming the BCD436HP/BCD536HP With the Sentinel Software, For some unknown reason the New State of Delaware P25 System will not program into the scanner or at least it does not recognize it, But when look at the configuration within the data Base, It looks OK, When you compare it to the Delaware Wireless Interoperability Network (DELWIN) System

Try It again. I may have had an error in the channel table.

If there are no talk groups defined in the database, the system is not available in Sentinel for download. But there are a few, so wait a week of so for the update.

From a listener in Rehoboth:

Site: 1.13
NAC=68D
Neighbor: BEE00.689-1.12
Channel 0-15: 851.1 SCC
Channel 0-337: 853.1125 SCC
Channel 0-375: 853.35 CC
Channel 0-413: 853.5875 SCC

last evening I did create a search on my sds100 for 3A7 from 850-858mhz. I did receive many tkgps transmitting on some frequencies with the specific P25 Nac. The most active frequencies transiting voice where 852.6000, 853.08750, 852.3500, and 852.8375. The information that did not display was the Site number or Sys ID. The Tkgps I could figure out are listed below. There were a few 3 digit tkgps all Encrypted. I assuming they are law enforcement. At 8pm there was a lot of talk over tgkp 145 so I'm assuming its DSP Suscom doing a roll call. I saw no activity over 700mhz matching the Nac 3A7.

It appears that: Sussex Fire Dispatch - 277 and 1877
Fire 2- 223, Fire 3- 225,
Ems 3- 791 Ems 2- 281
Med Patch - 283
Unknown if training or fire company tkgp- 769 ( heard Mayday drills over it )
CMLF tkgp- 381
Also, just wanted to add the equation for the P25 TGs on the Smartzone system: The P25 TGIDs multiplied by 16 equals the Smartzone TGs in decimal format.

For example: 277x16=4432.

So, a question: Based on hearing only one other TGID - 1093 - so far on both the NCC & Kent sites, and doing the math, that equals 17488. That matches the Sussex county SPCA - TGID 17488. Am I correct or did I miss something?

If correct, does that mean TGID mapping can start and profiles can be created so that when the data gets loaded into the P25P2 system, it will take right off? Of course that ASSUMES a lot. That every TGID on the legacy system will be added to the new system.
