AE08D5 which we all have as 61-2670 COBRA-70 is inbound and IDing as COBRA-72 both on the radio and mode-s flight ID. 118.675
Box swap? Or is my box not decoding right? AE08D5 vs AE08D6
They stayed on 118.675 all the way until the handoff to ADW tower.

The WB-57 is airborne again tonight.

He was out west on the 8th as both 70 and 72 on the radio and box.

*shrug* :)

Let me add some more confusion for you - here's a portion of my logs (coming in a little while):
COBRA 70 (OC-135B, 61-2670) - called Metro for weather at KIAB and KFFO
COBRA 72 (OC-135B, 61-2672) - called Dispatch for NOTAMS at KIAB and KFFO

Apparently returning home, but KOFF had "gloom and doom" weather, so they had to work out a divert. Both were radio callsigns - different person on the radio. Is it possible that they were both flying?

2300 local NASA 928 with ZDC Irons 132.9500 reports doing East-West runs for
a couple hours.
I think this is NASA's WB-57 callsign if I recall working out of Langley.

Plug in 135.825 and see if you catch anything - heard the ER-2 reference it a few times while at Patterson this summer...I believe it's a NASA flight test frequency.
