Regarding the inability to login to the wiki, you may want to post something over in the wiki forum. I'm sure you aren't the only one with an underscore that's tried to login.

It appears to be a known bug that hasn't been resolved. Would have to have the webmaster modify my user name. I'll pass...

re TG 41200

UIDs 30872 and 30880. Unfortunately I wasn't around to listen.

That's near the UIDs of 30862 and 30868 for TG 33936 alleged to be Twinsburg PD. Have not heard it recently.

I monitored Peninsula's dispatch channel for a bit today to confirm the post above regarding Boston Heights PD on this channel. Sure enough, 300-units doing traffic stops on Rt8. Just what one would expect out of this crew. DB cat and talkgroup updated.

Seems like a bit of a loss for Boston Heights that worked so well with Macedonia on Rte 8. I'll be listening to hear how cross border calls are now relayed/handled by Peninsula/Richfield for the north end of Rte 8.

???

I'm confused about TGID 34160. I hear units call "Richfield", but the units are actually Boston Hts PD or Peninsula PD, and Richfield PD is not really on this system ??

Correct, but both Boston Hts & Peninsula use Richfield dispatch. I believe the Richfield dispatcher then has a separate console for Richfield PD.

OK. Thanks.
I never bothered to program in Richfield's system since my reception in that direction is poor. But did a quick search and I do hear the control channel intermittently.

Another UN-IDed TG 4592

Seems to be ENC although I did hear a bit in the clear.

should the attenuator be set on or off ? in Summit County 800 System ?

You would normally not want the attenuator on unless you were having trouble with very strong signals or in a simulcast system (such as this is) to reduce signal(s) from other sites.

So depending where you are located and if you are having LSM distortion then you may want it on

Just a few questions that I was hoping someone might be able to clear up for me. I'm not in Summit County anymore, so its hard to pick up the Summit 800 System from where I live now.

First off, I noticed that the below listed frequencies are in the RR database for the Summit 800 System. When I search for them on the FCC database, they return nothing related to Akron or Summit County. Just wondering if they could be wrong.

851.3125
852.0875
852.3125
852.3875
853.3625
853.3875
853.3125

Secondly, the below listed frequencies I found in the FCC database and return to either Akron or Summit County. They are not listed in the RR database,

857.1375
856.6875
856.6375
857.1875
857.2625
857.6625
856.8875

Thanks!

That is consistent with the TG's for Stow.

That's what I guessed. I wasn't paying attention when I logged them. I thought I heard it though.

Well I'm using whatever is in the RRDB and it's working. Mike Szabo checks in occasionally and he would know.

FWIW I suppose I only need the designated control channels but I programmed in all listed in the DB anyway.
