So can I use DSD plus fastlane to confirm the Pickens site, just set the control channel and let it run?

yes, also you can search the different frequencies listed in your area and see what else you can confirm. Depending on your antenna. I am picking up sites 25 miles away.

I have been gathering data on sites for this system for a while. Control channels have been active for some time.

I had not related it to the name TRBOMAX, nor had I seen the website for it. So it's good to see its intended purpose. This makes several "SMR" type systems geared toward business use in various parts of the state - Fleettalk (nearly statewide), Charleston Wireless (which is in the big metro areas), Palmetto TBRO, Myrtle Beach Communications (Grand Strand area) and maybe others. These can be interesting systems to listen to.

I have added some sites this morning, and have more to add as I have time to do so. There are likely some mistakes, so I apologize in advance. I'm only adding control channel frequencies since I have not heard any voice traffic. I assumed it would all be encrypted, but maybe not. As we hear more voice traffic on the system, we can fill out voice channels.

I added Newport and Beech Island when I created the system. Sorry for those mistakes, I was working on it late at night. Between Brian and myself and any users who submit info I think we can get this mapped. I have not seen voice here other then about 5 talk groups that appear to just be testing.

So far on the sites I have confirmed the licenses are spot on with what frequencies are there. I can convert channel numbers and frequencies if anyone needs that.

mrat1234, I printed out your list of sites and I worked through all the submissions that shajoe44 put in. I will try to clean up and organize all these. Also if you guys or anyone else who may be monitoring can also just submit the neighbors that DSDplus gives you for a site. It's not critical but helps the sites details be more complete in the DB.

The only important thing I need to know to put in a site is the site number and color codes for them. So if you can be sure to include that with it.

2 more things.

1. It would probably be best to add all talkgroups even if its just testing because some techs could announce site/system info on the radio also what order are the testing talkgroups. currently only 101 is listed. Do they go in order like 101 then 102 and 103.

2. I believe since this system is going to be statewide and already is widespread it should be listed under the areawide trunked systems on the state page as well as the FleetTalk Carolinas system as it's almost statewide. Both of these systems are areawide. The SCE&G?SCANA and SC Public Service Authority could probably be added as well so people don't half to dig through the county listings.

For #2, if that happens then the number of admins who can work it gets greatly reduced. Since it has coverage but not completely statewide I Would like to see both stay as they are so that more local area admins can also manage the sites and submissions that are in their own area to help.

If that's ok.

Statewide systems are ones that have sites in EVERY county in the state. I don't think any of these systems have sites in every county.

Also, from what I have seen, the Color Code for all sites/frequencies has been 0.
