He's claiming that it's going to be a 100+ site coast-to-coast nationwide system. It was known early on that all talkgroups would be encrypted, which is to be expected of a federal system in this day and age, so no surprise there. System isn't going anywhere, it's just starting to get built out.

Maybe it will have hundreds of sites in every major city and podunk down in between eventually, who knows. But at this point in time, 4F0 is centered around NYC and is somewhat mirroring the conventional FIO repeaters as far as coverage area.

It's certainly always a good idea to scan the bands to see if there's anything new out there...but to proclaim that there are going to be hundreds of sites springing up nationwide is a bit much lol.

Checked the SDR tonight and noticed a new neighbor in red on 1.118. DSD screenshot below.

I'll note that I could not hear the CC in west Essex.

Site 132 location narrowed down to the Lambertville area (Hunterdon County) and added to the database.

New site 130 on 170.3375 is appearing as a neighbor to site 132, discovered by @nosoup4u. No sign of that site in the northern part of NJ, so our hunch is that it could be in the Allentown area.

I get reception of the PA State police site from Center Valley, near Allentown so perhaps it is co-located. Center Valley (LEHI05) Site Details (PA-STARNet P25: Pennsylvania Statewide Radio Network)

I also have a VHF beam locked towards Havre de Grace MD which has some fed sites and it is strong on that antenna.

LEHI05 is an "NTIA" site, so it would make sense to have other fed stuff co-located there.

Yes and for very general location comments, not intended for DB. I suspect.

Site 110 will be likely be found in New Jersey or Eastern Pa and maybe midtown NYC. I can confirm I looked for 171.6875 in downtown NYC very recently. Not there. Site 01 406.6125 has a respectable signal downtown on portable no antenna. Site 110 at my shack is 24/7 S9+10 over. Likely within a 25-45 mile radius Union Somerset Counties.

Site 129 when seen, the tropo propagation was East. During tropo I receive Rhode Island RISCON a few times a year. I suspect Connecticut, North Shore LI and maybe RI.

Common sites so far seem to be Courthouses, Airports. How about training facilities? Perhaps is a possibility for 110? Monmouth, Ocean, Burlco have plenty. These facilities accept planes and helicopters. They also cross train agencies.

Ok I am down here in the DC Metro area and wonder if their are any sights down this way. The US Marshals have a tower in Baltimore and I have my Yagi aimed twords that way to see if I can pick it up . Also they have access to the IWIN in the DC metro area and this system covers both the DC metro and the PNW Justice Integrated Wireless Network Trunking System, Various, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies.
I wonder if their radios would pick up this system automatically meaning its already programmed into it, or their is some other large federal system they have access to here?? If I get any hits on the Baltimore tower I will post it here .
