I ve upgrade 1.3 without any issues but on new version on PPS,if i want to read device,having error like : the unipps file is unrecognizable,pls check if it is from a pps which has s different version.

How can i read and write now G3?

Try reading the pager, then write back to it. That is what I did and it worked.

I also experienced the USB connection failure which resulted in a Windows error message. (Win 10 Pro, 64 bit) I had to wake the screen and reconnect my G5 to the PC, and then all worked as designed.

I was going to comment on that too, do not recall seeing that as an option in PPS. It's a generally important function and would make TG hold far more useful - especially with busy systems.

And did anyone notice this was FREE! That’s a strong move. Uni.Tw should see a boost in sales. My AirPods paired right up to too. Bravo. 1.3 is clean and simple. Something to be said for that.

If you're not using a drop-in charger or bluetooth, you can disable Voice Buffering to not have the delay. That's a per-knob setting.

If I never changed any other settings from the old codeplug what changed it? Ill have to try this. Thanks.

PPS question.....

Is there any way to sort the frequencies and groups ID's in PPS?

Each time I add another frequency or group ID, it adds at the bottom of the list. Over time, I have some frequencies/ID's that are related to the same system scattered all over the list, making it difficult to find things. It would be nice if PPS would allow you to move records up or down, sort by name, or cut and paste, insert, etc. That way I could keep all the associated systems grouped together, and make it easier to use a "master list" to build programming files for other radios that don't need everything on the my master list.

Is that a feature I haven't figured out, or a feature that's planning in future PPS versions?

Creating a spreadsheet import might work, but would require a lot of hand jamming.

No. I know it worked in 1.2. I had sorted my Group ID Setting - Group List (D5) in that version by dragging entries.

I was wondering the same thing since the delay was the first thing I noticed after upgrading to V1.3. It’s not a big deal to me either way and I can see how it’s beneficial when using Bluetooth or other external peripherals with the pager.

I've confirmed that this feature works in PPS 3.16. I did not have this capability in 3.14. I misspoke in that it would have been a PPS feature and not a firmware feature. However, the assigned number of the entry does not change when moved.

To add a little more to that, even when you plug it in to charge with the included cord/brick, it won't start charging until you wake up the screen.
