New TG verified and submitted to database...
51663 NCDOCDOPEMRG NCDPS Dept of Prisons Viper Emergency Channel.

Audio recording verified usage, listen all the way through.

Nice!

What I also found interesting was the comment about SHP......To me it sounded as though it was G-345, which would be a trooper assigned to Troop G, District III - Henderson, Transylvania or Polk counties.
And dispatched out of SHP-Newton.

It was Troop G dispatch RID 2499936 they've done that a couple times, but this was the first time I heard someone correct them and ID'd the channel.

I heard raleigh tell someone the other day that they were dispatching across c1 and c8 at the same time the other day. I guess someone got to asking why c8 calls were being broadcast on c1

My guess would be staffing. Sometimes just easier to work that way, otherwise "someone" might want to do a quick geography lesson!

They do that all the time in Troop F. F4 and F2 have are always patched together, and I may be wrong but F1, F3, and F5 are patched together as well, and quite frequently, especially at night, the dispatcher multi-selects all of the channels. Sometimes, I have heard Troop G being multi-selected with Troop F because of low staffing.

60809 TG I have noted users of FED COM joining. Not sure what label to put on it. Havent picked up any audio traffic on it, just key ups.

Calling out radio checks on viper Statewide #52255 very few counties are replying

That's normal, but interesting to see they've added a lot of other agencies not normally on the radio check list like USCG, USMC, NWS, among others (too bad none responded I was hoping to get RIDs)

51551 is actually a TG for Communication Unit Leaders for the state. They have it listed as Viper Radio Tech's but its not. Their TG is encrypted.

ok thanks need to correct that it has been passed on to Radiorefference

Viper TG 51551 is correctly listed in the database as VIPER COML and it is called that over the radio. It is used for Viper coordination by the State EOC to handle talkgroup coordination, radio requests and other communications issues. It is listed as VIPER Communications Logistics, not radio techs.

For those who monitor around Davidson county the motor bridge ( that's what they called it I honestly have no idea what it is lol ) was taken down today and Davidson Fire dispatch ( VIPER ) & Davidson Fire dispatch ( VHF ) were patched together at the 911 center. This has really helped with the delay that was present before. The switch over date is now end of October ( it keeps getting pushed back so who knows when it might actually happen )

Was talking to someone and informed that City Of Fayetteville most likely will not band together with the new 911 center because they want to be in charge of it.And they never plan to go Viper because they want to be in charge of there own system. Now they have several IDs on viper along with Hope Mill/Fay State-U who is with Fayetteville system now. To my knowing
they don't even have a MUT-AID id for other county depts. So why do they need all these viper ids when they don't use them counties have ids they don't need and sure they need at least one to have if there system goes down.
