There are 4 or 5 listings in VIPER for SC SHP and use for border counties in Southeast NC and SC. Troop 3, 4 and 5 have TG links as well as NC/SC Common and Statewide. Interesting talk sometimes

That's interesting as database has it listed as Granville Medical Center Oxford VMC5

I was hoping to learn which sites carry Alexander county in addition to Barrett Mountain. That's okay I will program surrounding sites to find activity.

Any sites in the surrounding counties should be capable of carrying Alexander tg's. Whether or not there is a subscriber affiliated to those sites is a different thing.

Last Christmas Eve about 9:45pm to 10:15pm Charlotte Fire conducted their annual Santa Sighting Reports and seasonal greetings messages, the difference was they were patched into the NC VIPER statewide call (SWCALL TG 52255). It was great to hear dispatchers and agencies across the state join in, the number of people (outside CFD) even surprised the organizers.

While I can't promise they'll do it again on VIPER this year it might be worth listening to the SWCALL talkgroup tonight to see if it is repeated.
