Rusk has their digital up and running 155.62500 with a NAC of 550. Nothing related to WISCOM though.

Rusk Co.

So they are using it for every day law enforcement use tho? Or are they still broadcasting on analog?

I really can't tell you. I've locked that county out of my radio & scanner, there's not too much going on there. Your best bet would be posting a new thread here in Wisconsin as this thread is dealing with WISCOM and not local counties.

Intresting, i`m looking at loading the WISCOM system into my `396T so i`ll have it when it finally goes live. Question (might be the wrong place for this, move my post if it is :)), when i load WISCOM into my `396T, will i need a custom frequency table? A quick read of the RR database for that one seems to confirm my guess that i don`t (which would be a nice convenience to me...less programming to do :)). Thanx! N9NRA

You will not need any custom band plans. All P25 system's band plans are 'downloaded' from the control channel to the scanner for every band, VHF, UHF and 700/800.
Don't forget to set they trunking system as P25 when you program it not Motorola VHF.

There is a beta site on the air for testing. It does exist and walks & talks :)

I feel sorry for the guy who is getting the license information together. He still has a long road ahead of him.

A P25 Control Channel on 152.1125 Mhz. with a very strong signal from Chilton. Using a former Part 22 paging freq.
NAC B0C.

You aren't kidding about the very strong signal.

System analysis displayed on PSR-600 from over 30 miles from the Chilton tower.

qq=82%

NAC=B0C

WACN=00001

System ID=B0C

RFSS=001

Site Number=001

Has anybody decoded the 152.1125 Control Channel yet?

Using Pro96com I only see table info for 800 & 700 Mhz. but no VHF,

Excerpt below:

FileVersion:6
-TowerInfo
#This section is here for information only. With the exception
#of the Call Sign(s), This data is not Read back into the program at all.
System ID : B0C
System Name : WISCOM
WACN : 00001
Tower Number (Decimal): 101
Tower Number (Hex) : T0101
Tower Description : CHILTON
Control Capabilities : Voice
Call Sign(s) :
Timestamp : Sun May 2 20:56:39 2010

-Tables
#Format: Table ID,Base Freq,Spacing,Input Offset,Assumed/Confirmed,BandWidth,Slots
00,851.00625,0.00625,-45.00000,"Confirmed",0.00625,1
01,762.00625,0.00625,30.00000,"Confirmed",0.00625,1

-Frequencies
#Format: Channel,Usage,Frequency(/Slot),Input Frequency(/Slot),Hit Count
"01-0000","c",762.00625,792.00625,0

So what would an appropriate T-Table for the PSR 500 / 600 be?

NAC B0C.

Are there any voice channels?

I've been searching 151-156 MHz, the past two weeks without any luck.

Keep in mind that there is no traffic at that site on a regular basis yet, as there are only a few subscriber radios programmed. Give it some time. Things should be ramping up in the coming months.

Question here, but does anyone know just how long till they start running any traffic on the system, even in a limited bassis? I`m thinkin` on loading the system into my `396T soon, and was getting a bit curious as to wether i should do that now or wait till there`s some real activity on the thing. Thanx guys! N9NRA

There is one site on the air now, and like I just mentioned there are only a few radios on the "system". The main build out will not be until later this year.

My first post today may or may not show up, so I will try this again in case it doesn't.

The Chilton WISCOM system has been in continuous 24hr TX mode yesterday & today.

In addition to the 152.1125 Control Channel, the following were found in continuous TX:

152.0225
152.5175
152.6525

All with the B0C NAC.

Reason for the continuous TX unknown.

Drive test perhaps?

Hope they add the VHF tables on the CC.

Control channel?

C.c. Is 152.1125 is this going to be the only c.c. I also don't see 152.1125 in r.r.'s data base; why is this freq 7 digits and all the rest 6 digit?
Also if chilton has e.m. -d.n.r. -marc freq's on it will they be switched over to p25 also? Thanks
