Lots of fun in the CAP today. Things get spicy when you have callsigns starting with TANK and BANK all hanging out....at least that's what I think i heard. Someone did ask for phonetics....

1320- Wild flt (4 X F-16s 121st FS DC ANG) off ADW for afternoon sortie. Working ZDC Patuxent (281.4) & discrete (238.175). Advises Bay Watch (305.2) that they will be in R-4500 for 45 mins then RTB ADW " via the tunnel" as two 2-ship formations. One formation working discrete (143.6) simulating intercept of TOI (id as Cessna-172).

A lot of the West Coast based THUG-C-17's swung thru Tonapah range and now down thru Southern Cal landing at March AFB.
Maybe Nellis is overcrowded
