Advice on scanner replacement

Check to see if there are any simulcast systems that you would want to monitor. If the answer is yes, then I would get nothing less than an SDS100. If there are none, then a BCD325P2 will do you just fine at a lower price point.

The SDS series is the best - yet most expensive. (~$700)

I recommend the 325P2 for a good handheld model that monitors all current systems.
