Okay. I'm messing with it see what it does. I did hit F2 and took the sequence number display (yellow number) off. Still not sure what sequence number is for.

Got my DSD+ FL in the Orlando area actively decoding and logging Duke sites now, and later this month, I'll be driving through Sys 201's territory. (KY,IN)
Are there any known things/sites in Orlando Metro, KY, or IN that need confirming or checked out?

Make sure you using 2d7 and sites 8 25 48. I have the following TG's
62787 LBVA Lake Buena Vista (Orange County)
62789 HLDS Highlands County
62790 LKWS Lake Wales (Polk County)
If you are confident about the TGs you have found please submit them to the DB
I have done that. Waiting on the update.
8 is too far east for me to get, @batdude is probably in a good spot over there on the east coast if i'm not mistaken.
25 is apparently too far south to pick up.
48 actively logging
I can also get good signal on site 10 (Clermont)
I have some good alias data to compare to TGs to make some connections. Going to work on that tomorrow. Pretty confident on some.
Also, with the SmartZone system fully decommissioned in Florida, where are all the "EXTERNAL" IDs coming from? Is the thinking that these are when the radio is on LTE? I would've thought they would still transmit a normal RID.
Okay. I wasn't too sure if you were able to get any towers. I can't pick nothing up good on duke 800 where I'm at. What Alias do you have? I have a few from lkws hlds and a few from lbva. I do see normal rid. I don't know if they are using lte radios.
There definitely are in IN/KY. We are aware of some (which just haven't been confirmed). And then there are others that most certainly would be online but nobody had detected them in a neighbor list. Not much work being done in the IN/KY area from sleuthers for at least a year, perhaps more.
11 sites that should be online (based upon neighbor/peer listings long ago) but aren't
approx 11 more +- sites should be online as well
These are in the IN/KY (and maybe Southeast Ohio has a couple too).

- expand the 201 stuff to see IN/OH/KY
- red balloons are confirmed
- light-red balloons are likely online and were reported as neighbors/peers of other sites
- blue balloons are likely other sites that are online
Except on a rare occasion, work by sleuthers in IN/KY/OH has been minimal over the past 1-2 years. So there is a good bet that ALL of the IN/KY/OH sites that are planned to be online are online.

I'm happy to report that sleuthers in the Carolinas are doing a great job cranking out verified reports. While the system is online, it has not become active yet and we have nearly 60 confirmed sites, and another 25+ unconfirmed neighbors.

Yes, it is transmitted by the system unless the RID joins from an external link. If you have the Radios window open you will see the logging that DSD+ saves in the DSDPlus.radios file.

Yes! I have never seen this happen with any other P25 system. Does anyone know if this is a new Harris specific feature?

My mobile setup will be fortified today with some UPS deliveries
It's enabled on Duke and AEP P25 Phase II systems (both systems Harris). DSDPlus recently started supporting the capture of those aliases and the LRRP data. SDRTrunk (nightly build right now) supports it. DSD-FME supports it. On the Moto systems around me (besides the AEP Harris system) I do not see any of the Talker Alias / GPS location data and never have.

Once you have established a pattern of continuous usage by those RID alias users on particular talkgroups, please submit them to the RR database along with the relevant portion of the DSDPlus.radios file (as verification) so we can start building a TG list in the database.
Its game-changing for encrypted systems and identifying TGs!
On the Names does it have a tg with it? I did see FL-DCC-0 on Ft meade site.
So i'm noticing now that FL-DCC-0 has two different RIDs that I have captured... this may be a generic ID for the DCCs?
So far I have seen it on TG 62786
