Any more new data on this system I was going to program it into my G5 and see how well it picks up in the area outside of Huron County.
I have it in my G4 and it works perfectly for me. I'm right on the lakeshore dead center between Vermilion and Huron. If you want my PPS file, let me know and I'll send it to ya so you can see how I have it programmed.

How come this system isn't listed under Huron County, Ohio county page yet?

Do you travel out of Pittsburgh to Huron Co often? Please read through this thread from the beginning, and you may then understand why it isn't currently in the DB. Although I do anticipate that it will be in the DB soon.

would i be able to apply for a calls node ?
if so what would be the name of it ?
and who can listen in ?

Once it is in the DB, absolutely you would be able to provide a calls Node. Most likely it would be called "Huron County OH (P25)" -- the (P25) may be dropped.

Anyone will be able to listen in to the talkgroups that we normally allow feeds to broadcast. But you can upload EVERY call, and EVERY call that you upload that is in the clear will be available to YOU to hear on the calls platform -- since you would be the feed provider.

  • Calls provider gets access to all talkgroups that they send to the calls system.
  • Regular listener gets access to only those talkgroups that RR deems "streamable"

Hope that helps.

This system is now in the RRDB

NOTE: Once anyone is able to confirm that a particular agency is using this new system as its PRIMARY means of communication, let me know so that I can add the necessary things under the main Huron Co DB page in the specific categories.

@dth1958 : If you do want to be a Broadcastify Calls node, you'll be able to apply whenever you want: Broadcastify

mike the primary control channel is 769.60625

It was the one that is marked red when initially come up. All three are control channels. everyone should program in all control channels. We do not change primary/alt designation in the DB every time the primary control channel changes, as long as it changes to one of the alternates. All that is needed for anybody monitoring the system is to know that there are three control channels. Two weeks from now, or a day from now, it might change again -- but it will still be one of the ones listed.

Thanks for the update. Looks like nothing relevant has changed (WACN / SYSID / RFSS-Zone / NAC / Peers).
