I've spent a week each March for the past 5-6 years in the Tampa area watching baseball. I hope there's baseball to be watched next March.

I have heard unconfirmed reports that Florida Auto Exchange Stadium (Dunedin, 303 Douglas Ave) has food, water, and gasoline stocked up and will shelter anyone who needs it, but this was before the storm turned left.

I have a particularly vulnerable family friend north of Daytona and I'm mildly relieved the storm is tracking more westward now, but I wish it wasn't aimed at you guys on the Gulf Coast either.

All the best and know that your friends and acquaintances are thinking of you.

Not tanks like an abrams with a big canon and guns. . The video was of tracked armored personnel carriers.

Thank you, that's what I figured. Either that or perhaps some of those M60 chassis-based engineering vehicles are still in service. I've been out for over ten years so not sure what hardware is used today.

There is a Marine Corps AFV base/unit right there on the Handy side of the bridge. I am guessing they were moving inland to escape the surge.... TT
