I just submitted some minor changes to the Mono County listings. The submissions for the Mammoth Mountain trunked radio system are more extensive, including some changes in voice channel frequencies and in the use of talkgroups and channel designators. I should have submitted the ski area changes last fall, but wanted to verify every detail before doing so, then ran out of time this winter to do it once I figured it all out. Hopefully, better late than never!

I'm Almost ashamed to post this

I feel like a goof-ball asking this but I need help to program my 396t with this system for the PomonaICIS site. I am using frreescan to program my scanner. When I set up the system I dont know which type of system to choose from the drop-down list under "system type". can someone please help get me throuh this? by chance is there any other P-25 systems near ontario that I can monitor? Thanks....

Ok I checked the database and it is not in there. Anyone have a good band plan for Culver City? I have lower Base as 480.500 upper base is 481.1875 offset 380 spacing as 12.50. I show a good signel but it will be quit while the 996 is talking.

I dont think you need an upper base.

I am having a similar Prob using ARC XT Pro on my 996xt. It asks for an upper and lower ... (Lower/ Base & Upper) I can get the stinkin scanner to receive... - Sean

They are doing some upgrades on ICIS this morning....the Burbank cell was down and all the Burbank users went over to the large Glendale cell. You can hear the techs from Beverly Hills, Pasadena, and others on Motonet talking about WAN, channels into 2.1, timeslots, etc It appears Glendale is talking on their own encrypted TG.

33312 sounds like the power company in Glendale, they respond to addresses in Glendale with electricity problems.

I'm hearing Montebello Park Rangers on TG 7024 as they respond to calls this evening.

7204 is listed for the Park Rangers in the Montebello section, but that's not a valid TG as far as I can tell.

On Monday afternoon I heard TG 34336 become active with someone calling for another unit with what sounded like him calling the channel "NALEMARS" a couple of times. There was no answer and that was it.

Anyone have a good list of of radio id's for Verdugo? I got to use my 396XT last Saturday and the id feature worked great. It's nice to be able to tag dispatch (got 2 ids for dispatch) and all the engines.

montebello pd digital

im seeing montebello pd has switched to digital tg 36800 unk what the tac freqs are at this time if any

Now that you mention it, I did notice that tg active on my Unitrunker at work....but I was busy so I didnt pay attention. I will post what I find.

I should also add that Glendale has been dispatching in digital the past 2 days on their Tac 2.....not sure if that is related and/or permanent.....
