So I guess they don't leave the Burbank PD access channel, analog simulcast going all the time? I heard that the other day and thought maybe my non-digital friend would be in luck, but I guess not. I hear nothing now.

ICIS Mutual Aid Talk Group Confirmation

I never saw a response to this question about the ICIS Mutual Aid TG's. Can anyone confirm whether these are accurate. I've seen other posts that suggest that there are actually 10 MA TG's. None are listed in the database though. If we can confirm any of these we can submit them for inclusion in the database.

Thanks,

Greg

Somewhere along the way, I obtained the following info. for the ICIS mutual aid TGs.
If correct, are they frequently used or seldom or never ?
I am not a regular monitor of ICIS except for Culver City so I can't verify their use.
Just wondering and curious.

65392 ICIS M/A-1
65408 ICIS M/A-2
65424 ICIS M/A-3
65440 ICIS M/A-4
65456 ICIS M/A-5
65472 ICIS M/A-6
65488 ICIS M/A-7
65520 ICIS M/A-8

I read once that there were 10, but #9 and #10 are numerically before #1 in the TG number sequence.

They are rarely used...in fact, I think they are only on the system to get "interoperability cash" from the Federal govt.

Testing yesterday and today identifying the channel as "Air Tac". Units include "Pasadena Air Support", "PD1", "Arcadia PD", some air units, and a couple radio shops. There may have been others like "Covina PD" I thought I heard but couldn't confirm.

Hey guys,

I was adding some submissions to the DB and ran across a few errors. I'm not familiar enough with the system and can't monitor from home (Northern California) wondering if you guys can take a look.

#1 33904 is duplicated

#2 Not valid talkgroups?; 33760, 33856, 33952, 33696

Thanks

I see no one has answered for ICIS, but those are valid digital TG IDs in the San Diego County - Imperial County RCS, so I don't see why not.

Any idea who TG 37056 is? It is a patched talkgroup to some police depatment department....radio 746088, which I believe falls into the Montebello radio numbering system. Perhaps the school district?

Montebello School Police supposedly joined the system some time ago. I was wondering when someone would pick them up.

I'm kind of surprised that they're having such problems. I always thought those cities did pretty well when it came to bringing in revenue. Especially Burbank. I noticed PD flight time seems to have gone down a lot the last year or so though. Last I heard they were going to join Bur and Glen air units. I think a common dispatch is a mistake though. They have very personalized dispatch that does a good job. I don't see them having the same attention to detail with just one. Personally, I think Pas is one of the best PD's in the area.

New Talk Group, sounds like Culver City Fire

I'm currently listening (8 PM Tue May 25) to what sounds like Culver City Fire doing a drill exercise (burning 3-story building) on TG 38368. I don't see that TG listed in the database or posted earlier in this thread.

I'm not too sure of exactly what the TG is, but they're referring to "Culver City" and "Drill IC" during the exercise.

Hopefully someone who knows what this TG is officially called can provide more info and add it to the database.

Are you listening to the Culver City cell? I was hearing some Montebello Techs saying that a lot of their radios were suddenly first affiliating with the Culver City cell and they werent sure what was causing it....

edit

Well, I just heard Culver City FD Batallion 1 say he was clear from the Drill Tower.... I bet those are digital FD talk groups....
