The new ID is F108.

However something else must have also changed, as I am unable to fully monitor the system on a Pro106.
Scanner stops and shows TGID, however I don't hear any audio.
I know there is activity as I can scan the frequencies conventionally and hear the conversations then.

As the system is primarily used by public works Mon-Fri I have not had much opportunity to trouble shoot as the system is pretty quiet at night and weekends.

LAFlyer -

Try changing your Beverly Hills settings to

480.0500 base
12.5 step
380 offset

It appears the logical control numbers on the channels have changed (per unitrunker), so they changed the base frequency

Thanks Karl.
I'll give that a try when I get back in town for the weekend.
If it works, I'll also update the RR database on the sneaky change.

I can confirm the base frequency change for the Beverly Hills site did the trick.
The RR Db has been updated.
Thanks!

New TG's

Hello guys.

Been fishing for wild-cards on the ICIS system and have noted the following in the last couple weeks.

If anyone has any confirmations of whom/what the uses for these might be please chime in so we can get the DB updated.

9232 - Culver City Site - Mention of Brotman Hospital
32800 - Multiple key ups.
33824 - "Burbank Radio Service Testing"
34336 - BUR/GLNDL site - "Have video to download"
35504 - "Burbank Radio Service Testing"
36032 - BUR/GLNDL site - open carrier
38368 - Culver City site - Mention as Ch.9 with follow up discussion about previous need for first aid at Radisson Hotel. (seems Culver City indeed has a Radisson)
39712 - BUR/GLDL site - discussion about cadets need to start cleaning up and moving ladders

Thanks

ICIS system

I have read this forum thru but I'm confused about the trunking tables. Is the ICIS correct in the RRDB? I'm trying to build a .p500 file for my PSR-500 for Burbank/Glendale/Bob Hope arpt/ Beverly Hills. If anyone is willing to send me a good file I can send you a really good Las Vegas file? Or I can probably deal with a .bin file. I use win500 so that's preferred, .p500. 737mech@cox.net

Yes things are correct in the DB, or atleast no one has complained that they no longer work.

Just remember in essence you need to set each site up as a individual system. So based on what you want to monitor you would have 3, one each for Burbank, Glendale and Beverly Hills.

More WildCard TG's

Got an update on few of the Wildcard TG;s that I came up with in the post above.

8368 - Confirmed as additional Tac for Culver City Bus lines
38368 - Confirmed as Fire-9 for Culver City
32800 - Is a CLEMARS patch, not certain for what agency - maybe Glendale?

A few more noted Wildcards I'd appreciate any help on:

2000 - Water department ops. Talk about a flow line, and loss of 11,700 gallons.
8720 - Multiple key ups
33456 - Detectives doing surveillance (received in BUR/GLNDL site)
34336 - Referenced as "L-Mars". Both Azusa and Montebello PD have been on it talking to Air-44. Any clue which agency operates Air-44? (received on BUR/GLNDL site)
39808 - Seems to be a water department, talking about water discharge and samples. One location mentioned was Arroyo Seco pump. (on BUR/GLNDL site)

Any information or help ID'ing TG's for the database is appreciated.

Good call.

Was able to confirm 34336 indeed Air Hailing frequency for the El Monte chopper by a few of the contract ICIS cities.

A-HA! I've been wondering for quite some time what frequency "L-MARS" operated on. Now I know where to scan when Baldwin Park PD dispatch is trying to contact Air 44/45 (when they dont respond on the dispatch freq) Just curious, is L-MARS analog or digital?

More WildCard TG's

L-MARS is digital.

I have identified another wildcard TG's.
36784 - Montebello PD Detectives

Summary of TG's still need user identification:

2000 - Water department ops. Talk about a flow line, and loss of 11,700 gallons.
8720 - Multiple key ups
9232 - Culver City Site - Mention of Brotman Hospital
32800 - CLEMARS patch - Agency unknown (maybe Glendale?)
33456 - Detectives doing surveillance (received on BUR/GLNDL site)
33824 - "Burbank Radio Service Testing"
35504 - "Burbank Radio Service Testing"
38352 - "What is your ETA back" (Culver City site)
39712 - BUR/GLDL site - discussion about fadets need to start cleaning up and moving ladders
39808 - Appears to be a water department, talking about water discharge and samples. One location mentioned was Arroyo Seco pump. (on BUR/GLNDL site)

Appreciate any help confirming above ID's for inclusion in the DB.

The CLEMARS patch is used by an authorized ICIS user that wants to talk on CLEMARS VHF.....

There is also a HEAR patch....

I think there is a WHITE 1 patch also, but maybe I am misremembering.

Do you mean by Glendale ICIS users, or is the CLEMARS patch a ICIS systemwide TG?

I note under Glendale's TGs they indeed do have HEAR and White1 listing.

Thanks

You might want to verify those again as the HEX ID's supplied are not valid when converted to DEC format.
8FC = 2300 and 90D = 2317, of which neither is divisible by 16 to be valid on this system.

Actually, those numbers are already divided by 16. The trunktracker TG ID is 16 times the decimal equivalent of the hexadecimal TG. So $8FC = 2300 decimal = 36800 trunktracker. Nobody lists trunktracker TGs in hex.

Motorola CPS (Customer Programming Software) uses hexadecimal numbers for programming talkgroups, so those numbers, $8FC and $90D, are what you would find in the software. Trunktracker TGs are madeup numbers used to track the status bits along with the talkgroups. SmartZone systems deal with status bits in a completely different way.

For those whom may not know, the dollar sign, when prefaced to a number, indicates the number is hexadecimal. On a side note (dare I say tangent) , I wish the DB admins would follow the industry standard and list NACs (Network Access Codes) prefaced with a dollar sign instead of "NAC" since NACs can be listed as either decimal or hexadecimal. What the database currently shows are decimal NACs when in reality, the numbers listed are hex. Thank you for letting me vent.

One last thing: The name of the talkgroup is ELMARS, as in EL Monte.

Thanks for the help LBH.

Unfortunately the manner the DB is set up it did not recognize 8FC and 90D, and converted them to 2300 and 2317 without the needed X 16 multiplication.

For the NAC's, here again the DB does not allow entry of $, so we must simply enter the numeric portion only.

Thanks for the clarification on ELMARS. I'll get the DB updated today.

From my previous wildcard list we managed to identify one additional TG:
39808 - Pasadena Water Pumping and Treatment Stations.
