FWIW, I heard the following yesterday....

35210 Control 2
35136 Control 4
35056 Trash Pickup or Recyclables
35022
35328

One was "Forestry" ....had some trees down in the wind event. I didnt know Burbank had a Forestry Department.

I believe it was a typo, but 35184 is "Control 8"

35280 is Burbank PSD Power department. This talkgroup is digital. And as mentioned above, 470.3250 is definately part of the Burbank trunking frequencies and needs to be added to the database.

Yes, they have a "Forestry" department. A buddy of mine worked in the Forestry Department. Basically they are the city "tree trimmers". Burbank, until the wind storm of a couple of years ago, held the distinction of being the city having the most trees per population in the nation.

On New Years Day, Burbank PD dispatch came up on 35056 and called it "REFUSE." (Some busybody was complaining about a trash truck making too much noise on New Year's Day)

Burbank is kind of quiet, but it is still working

471.075 was changed from a public works freq and added the ICIS system recently.

Any word on how the "talkgroups" will be organized? By City (i.e. Burbank units)? By Channel (i.e. Red 1, 2, etc.)? etc.

It would sure be nice to just hear the traffic for the city your interested in.

Beverly Hills Site Up (Sort Of)

Beverly Hills appears to be simulcasting (at times) on the ICIS system. System ID: 0891h-0006. I've heard TGID: 1472 simulcasting BHPD Dispatch. It's been hit & miss this morning, so it appears radio techs are working on the system. TGID 1472 also being simulcast on the Burbank system.

Ha...I am already at 135 Talk Groups....I am going to have to figure out where to put the rest since the 296/796 only hold 100 per bank

Maybe my Glendale Bank will have all the Glendale TGs plus all PDs......and by Burbank Bank will have all the Burbank TGs plus all the PDs...

(or I have to buy 396T!)

Too Many Talkgroups

Remember, no talkgroup from another cell will appear on the Glendale cell unless there is a unit using that talkgroup affiliated on the Glendale cell.

Drat! I figured something was up when Burbank went quiet and my Pro97 started picking up more Digital talkgroups. Can't carry the BC796D around with me. Guess I'll have to break down and get a digital handheld. I know this probably belongs in another thread or forum, but: BC396 or Radio Shack Pro96?

Sounds like Montebello Fire...Downey Fire units too, but they might be using some type of patch because there is feedback.

Hearing it on the Glendale site.
