Listened in ID-Search mode for an hour during lunch:

TGID 5712 Possibly Beverly Hills PD? heard: responding from "Taylor and Beverly".
Heard through the Burbank Cell site.

Seems that Burbank Talk Groups carry alot of different traffic:

On 35056 not only heard Refuse and trash, but also Street Department traffic about filling pot holes. (Radio Identifier numbers heard: 40s, 100s & 200s)

35120 Street Department? Traffic? Traffic about posting no parking signs.

34576 is DEFINATELY Burbank PD Dispatch
34608 is DEFINATELY Burbank PD Tac 3 [carries "Tom" unit traffic (Parking Patrols) during the day]
34672 is DEFINATELY Burbank Animal Shelter
35136 is DEFINATELY "Control 4" Burbank Bus
34768 is DEFINATELY Bob Hope PD Dispatch

Monitored today (Wednesday, December 27, 2006, 1030 HRS to 1130 HRS):

34496 is encrypted, but I heard coms unencrypted (482.0875).

I found TG 34496 coming off Oat Mountain this morning. Came up unencrypted calling a 'Mike' unit, then they went encrypted for about three minutes, then it went quiet again.

What site was the Gardena PD on? Montebello or Glendale?

You never know who you will hear!

3. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT
3a. Executive Director Mailloux noted that the recent meeting about the Interagency Communications Interoperability System (ICIS) meeting was well attended by the member and various South Bay agencies. He advised that Authority staff will organize another meeting in the near future to further discuss ICIS.

Having attended the ICIS meeting, Lt. Saffell related his impression that L.A. County plans to convert to ICIS at some point in the future, whether or not surrounding agencies agree. He questioned why an agency would move to digital trunking unless that is where technology will be in the future.
Technical Services Manager Rivera voiced his understanding that one aspect of L.A. County’s plan is to include independent cities on a voluntary basis.
Executive Director Mailloux commented on the monetary motivation for some agencies to modify their systems. He pointed out that ICIS is not P25 compatible; that the Authority’s system is compatible with open architecture and digital trunking; and that no agencies in the South Bay are on ICIS.

Hello. There's an active Control Channel on 482.025, the licensee is Burbank. It's not listed under Burbank though. Anyone closer to Burbank know if it's actually part of Burbank's ICIS?

There's a PD primary dispatch talk group on 34576 on the Glendale ICIS. Anyone know who it is? Right now (0958 hours) this PD is at a major traffic accident in Burbank at Magnolia Blvd. and Pass Ave.

None of this is listed under the main ICIS page at http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=2856

Thanks in advance!

Updates were made in the RR Database for the ICIS based on recent information posted to this Sticky Thread.

Does anyone know if the older TGIDs are still used for Burbank PD?

2992 0bb A Police Dispatch (old?)
3056 0bf A Police Tac 3 (old?)
3088 0c1 A Police Tac 4
3120 0c3 E Police Records (old?)
3152 0c5 A Police - Traffic
3184 0c7 A Animal Shelter
Also, does anyone know if the Mode for the new ones are Digital or Analog?

Thank you everyone. Keep up the good work. So far, this Sticky Thread has been a success for the ICIS.

ICIS 65392 Mutual Aid 1

Some Burbank Units were on it, then switched to sheriff mutual aid 1 where they were supposed to be.

Is this mutual aid ("Mutual Aid 1") for all ICIS users or was it for Burbank?

When you wrote "then switched to sheriff mutual aid 1 where they were supposed to be," what did you mean "where they were supposed to be?" Was it Burbank Police users on LASO Mutual Aid or were these LASO units on ICIS?

Just trying to figure out "who" was on "what" and where they normally are.

Thanks.

Can you hear the confusion?

Burbank Dispatch called county to use LASD Mutual Aid 1 North....then put the marker on it.

Half the Burbank units and some LAPD units came up on that channel......and about three Burbank units and Air 100 went to TG65392, which apparently is ICIS Mutual Aid 1.

I believe there are 10 ICIS mutual aid systemwide talk groups....
Do you have them and if so, could you list them?

Also, are the ICIS Mutual Aid channels only for ICIS users or does it allow other users on the system (LAPD, LASO, LAFD, etc.)? Are they trunked or direct?

Thanks.
