I think that mirador it pasadenas main site. why do they call it the wind??

I think it's just a play on the word "Mariah" from Paint Your Wagon.

El Mirador was the name of an old avocado and dairy ranch overlooking the Arroyo Seco, where the transmitter site is located.

The Pasadena site is up transmitting data with site ID of 010 on 477.3625.

If anyone has a trunk tracker and can run it on the system to help determine the channel line up, base frequency and offset that would be helpful so that I can get the Db updated.

Also anyone know why we seem to have skipped site 009? Or is that for the planned Claremont site?

I can hear it but it is very very weak here in eagle rock. It sounds like the lawa control channel so it is probably p25. I will try to decode it tonight.

My unitrunker isnt decoding that signal.....looking at the scope it looks different than Glendale or Beverly Hills....

Its a P25 signal, and seems indeed to have the same characteristics of the new LAWA system (control channel currently on 472.5625 to compare).

i have logged four radios so far, on four different tgs. radio id 4 and 16 come up on tg 32976 and radio id 60000 and 60001 are on tgs 33600 34496 39424. there is no voice comming through though and i have not gotten the second rx-er to follow properly yet.

I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with Unitrunker and started tracking the system at home and collecting data....(with the outdoor antenna)

Talkgroup 2156 is currently being used by techs walking around some city facilities....

So far, my BC296 is tracking this system better than my 396T......which is odd since it doesnt have 6.25 spacing....

When you figure out the details of the such as customs base/offset frequency, spacing. etc please submit it and I'll get the Db updated.

I'm also curious if all 15 FCC allocated frequencies will be used on this one site. If so it would be the largest of the ICIS cells.
Looking at the contour map KMA367 posted that show 3 transmission sites, I’m wondering if this is only the first of several sites we are hearing that will make up a larger Pasadena system?

Last I checked all 15 frequencies had been used. Of note, while it says Site 10, the callsign lists 0376 which is the same number that was on Culver City when they built out their ICIS site.

programming icis trunking in my unden bct15x

can anyone help me understand how to program isis in my scanner i just want to listen to verdugo fire only are do i have to put in all the system to listen to verdugo fire.

I have only logged 13 but i have noticed that verdugo is now dispatching on this new icis.
