the talk groups look the same, but it appears the 2nd base frequency has changed. (for Glendale)

GPD Dispatch is now on 33488 D

After the narrowbanding change, my 996XT is now picking up LASO and other off-frequency channels showing the same TG numbers as actual ICIS TG's. In other words, I am now hearing both the correct ICIS user and off-frequency channels on the same TG. I suspect that the base, offset and/or spacing parameters in the frequency tables need to be updated to match the recent system narrowbanding change, but I don't know how to figure out what they should be. Maybe someone who understands this stuff can help figure it out.

This has to be one of the busiest days on the ICIS system....when I turned on my unitrunker at work every channel on site 1 was in use....

For Glendale - change your custom table settings to:

470.0125
12.5 spacing
380 base

481.550
12.5 spacing
500 base

leave the third one blank...or if you have a 296/796D, repeat the 2nd set of settings

I also listen to the Montebello site (site 003), and that's picking up some weird stuff as well. Maybe all the sites need to be updated in the database.

Thanks, karldotcom, for the Glendale site info. Now it's working for me again.

try 481.550, 12.5 and offset 500 for Montebello also.

It sounds like all the techs are working on something systemwide now on comnet tg 33008

Can anyone help me fix Glendale Police Dispatch on my PRO-106? I'm only hearing the TAC channels. I tried making the changes karldotcom mentioned, but I'm not sure how to program the scanner manually (I used Win500), I don't think I did it right. Any help is appreciated!

Glendale PD patch has shown up on the Pasadena cell as TG 93 (Digital)

Also heard Pasadena PD would move over sometime soon utilizing full encryption.

yep. I've updated the bandplan on my undien 396t for glendale's site and am receiving them well. Thanks for the quick info guys.

I'm picking up full time encryption on TGID 39440 - Pasadena PD Dispatch

I've updated the Db per the comments in this thread.

In the future kindly ensure the information is submitted into the Db as there is no guarantee myself or other Admins will always monitor these threads.

p.s.- Any noted changes to other sites such as Burbank & Pomona?

I was looking for Verdugo ID's. Have they changed? Also, what does narrowbanding do to programming on CPS?

there is a lot of changes. i will send you a pm for a radio shop in glendale that will program it up for you or give you all the informaiton youll need.

You need a system key to do any programming changes, as well as a assigned radio ID that will affiliate you with the system..... Otherwise you can be risking someones life that depends on their radio with having duplicate ID's...
