TGID 39712 was active for a minute on the Glendale site this morning, P25. Sounded like coordination of law enforcement training. ID is similar to Pasadena's known ID's.

Oat Mountain Not Working...but Culver City is in Santa Clarita???

I programmed the Oat Mountain and Culver City sites in my 996XT, and when in Santa Clarita I am getting traffic on the Culver City Site, but Oat Mountain is not stopping on any talk groups, even though when I hold manually on the control channel I am getting the System ID on my display. I suppose I can just rename my group from Culver City to Oat Mountain, and pretend that all is good, but I would like to know why the settings in the database for the Oat Mountain site are not working in Santa Clarita, but the Culver City site info is... any ideas?

You downloaded this from RR? The RR listing for Oat Mtn doesn't appear to have been updated since they changed it a couple weeks ago...

If I use the Culver City settings, I can hear loud and clear in Santa Clarita, so I think I am actually hearing the Oat Mtn Transmitter, not Culver City. I am still deaf if I use the Oat Mtn settings in Santa Clarita...don't hear a thing...

well, your scanner should say 482.0625 as the channel and system F108 - 02 or something like that if it is Oat Mtn.

and 482.5625 if it is Culver City.

So here is how I made it work for Oat Mtn:

On control channel 482.0625 it is showing Site ID F108h-0002, so I know it is Oat Mtn. To make it work
I changed Band Plan 1 in my scanner FROM the band plan shown in Radio Reference for Oat Mountain (480.5/12.5/380) to the band plan for Culver City (481.55/12.5/500) and it is working like a charm.

Hope that helps someone to monitor ICIS, or helps someone else try to figure out why what I did actually made a difference...

need help with the Pomona cell does any one have any idea of what the freq are?? (band plan)
also....
i was looking on my scanner (BCD396XT) and when i go to "Pomona pd ch1" where it displays the tgid/control channel it flashes with the following freq. 469.1150, 469.1125, 469.2000 idk if this would help out with anything of trying to figure out the off set or not but i put the following freq in the custom band plan but it still does not work.

any ideas why it is flashing those freq

On the Glendale site today I picked up a couple short transmissions on a TG not in the DB - 40560
Sounded like a police dispatch/secondary tac chan. I notice that there are no similar TGID's in the db.

I'm trying to get unitrunker working with a software-defined radio right now. Hopefully I'll be able to collect more data about my local ICIS sites soon to share with the community.

Happy new years

Could that have been an animal control? I have picked that up before also but never could figure it out....perhaps I have to leave scanner recorder running for some time to figure it out.

Yeah I think it is animal control. I parked my scanner on it and have heard more transmissions. They were talking about transferring a dog to someone elses truck.

I assumed it was a law enforcement channel after the first few transmissions because I heard a lot 10 codes (one's I didn't recognize and didn't find on google, actually 11-xx codes) and what sounded like normal dispatching to incidents/calls.

I just heard them mention "Northwest corner of Lincoln Villa" - not sure if that's Pasadena area...

Managed to copy 40560 today a couple times, but not certain of its usage either. But its definitely Pasadena area there was mention of traffic backups due to the parade.

One thing I do wonder, with the new Pasadena P25 system up, will Pasadena keep some of its TGs on the Glendale system?

Another non-listed TG I picked up on the Glendale system was 39728 which sounded like some activity regarding prep work at the "event site" which I believe I believe is the Rose Bowl.

Lastly in addition to the previously listed Encrypted TGs on the new Pasadena system noted the following also this morning.
2108 = Verdugo Red-7 patch
2115 = Verdugo Red-8 patch
2469 = Encrypted
2530 = Encrypted
2536 = Pasadena Traffic Management Command Center
3859 = Radio service testing..

Little birdy informs me 40560 belongs to the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA.

Pasadena SPCA is a ICIS subscriber and they provide animal control services for Arcadia, La Canada, Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, and Sierra Madre.

I'll get the Db. updated shortly.

I could be wrong but I think the Pasadena PD Dispatch TG (39440) is only on the Glendale site. I just checked unitrunker logs from yesterday... only TG's on the Pasadena P25 site are 2xxx range and 65536. Not one hit for 39440 or any others for that matter.

Replying to myself - I mistakenly thought that the Pasadena cell would share TGID's with the rest of ICIS. That doesn't seem to be the case. So it's a completely standalone site at this point?
