I can confirm they are dispatching on ICIS - I'm listening to them right now. When I left work a couple hours ago, there were several dozen radios affiliated with the system on the La Verne PD dispatch talk group MN

One would assume but not holding my breath. I know you have personal knowledge of the system also.

Yes, I do. Has a lot to do with why I am able to monitor the encrypted traffic. And yes, it will improve...

Yes it is confirmed their on there. It's working very well it seems . But they don't have their own site . Which they're off of the Glendora one . Which is where their conventional p25 repeater is . They switched over because the other days ago an officers life was jeopardized from their radio not making it in during a pursuit into Pomona and had to switch over to another MA trunking channel .

From what I understand Hauser Peak site is being P25 upgraded today.

Anyone withing reception range can probably confirm in the next day or so.

For what it's worth, contrary to what the db has... the SmartZone site on Oat is still up and functioning in parallel to the P25 site. Unfortunately, I'm unable to hear Hauser 8*(

You are probably hearing Culver City, not Oat. Both shared same frequencies when Oat was Smartzone.

What is the site number you are hearing?

Site 2. Per a friend of mine as well, Oat 4.1 is being kept online for the time being in addition to the P25

For the time being, the Oat 4.1 site is still on the air (site 2). Because the Oat P-25 site (site 12) has new channels, there was no requirement to do a hard cutover like we did with Hauser last Monday. The Oat P-25 site has been on the air for several months. I don't know what the schedule is for removing the 4.1 site.

What he said 8*) It would be no small miracle if I heard CC where I am in the SCV with that sort of signal 8*)

The P25 system sounds great!

Are radio id's staying the same with switch over to the P25for Verdugo? I am guessing that their radios were already P25 capable.
