It was available for the sds100 as well. Just for a giggle I did go with the factory financing option just to see what the deal was. Paid it off after one payment but that option can get someone one if they don't have all the cash to lay out at this time.

Lol as I did too. Had me thinking , should I grab another one .... nah I didn’t bite . The financing option is great !

I currently have a HP-2 with a lot of custom favorites lists. How hard (or easy) will it be to transfer these same lists to the SDS? Or will I have to start over?

super easy just export your hp-2 favorites out to an hpe file then in sentinel for the sds / x36's just import them in there and send to radio

It appears that since I posted my information above in post #306 which detailed how you could save $71 (or $105 if you have Amazon Prime) off of the "lowest going price" of $699.99 on the new SDS200, Amazon seller Police Scanner Outlet (which is actually Bearcat Warehouse selling on Amazon) abruptly pulled the SDS200 from Amazon. Only they know why they removed it from Amazon before the SDS200 was even in stock. Let the conspiracy theories begin...

On another note, if you are also in the market for an SDS100 handheld, Police Scanner Outlet still has that listed on Amazon for $649.99 with FREE shipping (currently "14 left in stock") and the discounts that I detailed above in my post #306 would also work with the SDS100. The total discounts would be a little lower at $69.50 (for non-Prime members) and $102.50 (for Prime members) because of the $50 lower selling price for the SDS100. Is that really a big deal? The exact dates around these scanner releases always seems to be secret. When a new iPhone comes out they tell you the date and time.

I know exactly when it will be released. As soon as the vendor's get them from the distributor. Everyone can quit losing sleep now. Back at the topic at hand I am looking forward to hearing reviews from the early adopters unfortunately I have to sit this one out for awhile.

Well, it was still up on Amazon at 1pm Pacific time today, which is when I ordered mine. Hopefully it will arrive on Feb 12 as promised.

It's going to have a bigger version of the SDS100's screen, and it's going to be glorious. Way better than the useless display on the 536.
