Are the old extenders on 453.625/458.625 still being used with the ISICS?
What few times I have heard them, it was on 458.625 -P25.

I haven't really noticed this, but now that you said something about it I haven't seen DNR or DPS officer's use anything else other then APX's. I do know that under ISICS my county is listed in region six interoperability, and the only radios our county uses are Harris.Random question, are Motorola radios the only radios allowed to be used on the ISICS system or could a county or department choose to use another brand?
At least in the des moines area, some agencies on ISICS use Harris portables.Random question, are Motorola radios the only radios allowed to be used on the ISICS system or could a county or department choose to use another brand?
Interesting, Just head heard extended conversations between units that were self-identifying TGID 1 as R1 Tac14. The Unit IDs indicate they are radios assigned to Warren County and the conversation leads me to believe they are firefighter radios. They might have a few mis-programmed radios. From what I've been told, you don't use TGID #1. It's the default TGID in a radio when you add a new TG in the programming...so if there was traffic on it, it was probably a improperly programmed radio.
No coverage in Decorah, none til you go south to West Union. Very weak signals there. Winneshiek county is on vhf with p25 or analog clear.STATE OF IOWA REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF SECTION 90.529 OF THE COMMISSION'S RULES. Granted the waiver request with conditions. Still a work in progress and I'm quite certain there are errors....Does anyone have a UID listing for ISICS so I don't have to recreate the wheel? Thank you.
You sir' are a godsend. Thank youStill a work in progress and I'm quite certain there are errors....

Thank you. I plan on putting everything together on a shareable spreadsheet. Would be nice if the UIDs were part of the RR DatabaseOffering what little I have to add to your document. I have others on scraps of paper or back of envelopes "somewhere".
Nice compilation.
I use the Wiki for general ranges when I see something unfamiliar on IA TAC2, gives me a good idea the geographic area. Best of luck.Thank you. I plan on putting everything together on a shareable spreadsheet. Would be nice if the UIDs were part of the RR Database
I have been tracking this talkgroup for about a year. RID's are from 15000009 to 15000103 with 15000104 appearaing to be a control operator. It has been my experience, that patched talkgroups from another system to ISICS do not have a unique RID.From what I remember when I lived in the Quad Cities, MedForce One is based out of Illinois. Wondering if that was just a patch channel. Looks to me like they are on the Starcom System
