Can anyone shed some light as to what this Unknown CSBK/FID is.

Connect Plus Trunked system, UHF 450-527.

Unknown CSBKO=12 + FID=6

Now at the bottom that particular radio id belongs to a bus company, not sure if its related to this message.

Hi Matthew
CSBKO=12 is a PDU associated with some Capacity Plus systems. Its purpose and contents are as yet unknown and I would appreciate any help from anyone who fancies looking into this.

Note that it doesn't appear on all Capacity Plus systems.

Regards

Ian

I am setting up a remote monitoring location to use the various software decoding programs from my home. I want to use the stereo microphone input with discriminator audio on one side and speaker audio on the other. Is there a way to split the input audio in DMRDecode into a left and right side? I don't know if I don't see it on my desktop because it is a mono mic or because the program doesn't allow it.
All set with Unitrunker, DSDPlus, & TRUNK88, just need to figure out this one.

Hi guys,
Question for you: Looking on the info on dmrdecode relate to what I'm listening too is a cap+ network on my sdr receiver here in the Uk, my question is that is they some software that will actually follow the calls like trunkveiw from the control channel or is it a case where I have to manually search for the other channels that are connected or linked to the main cc channel if that makes sense ???

Hello,

I suspect CSBKO=12 is related to data transmissions. A bus company is likely have AVL or other data transmissions. The Ack Response Packet is in response of Radio 276028 sending data to a system device.

Hi everyone.

I have problem with decoding any digital system on my computer.
It seems to be a problem with sound card.
Can anyone recommend tested USB sound card taht i could use with my laptop?
I tried DSD on other computer and it works. So it has to be sound card problem.
Thank you for any help

Doing the decoding takes quite a bit of computer horsepower. It may be that the fault is with the CPU and not with the sound card.
You should include your laptop specifications.

I have DSD working good on Pentium D 915 machine. Laptopo is faster with Pentium Core2Duo T8300 and DSD is not working. It must be something with sound card.
Laptop is a DELL M4300.

DMRDecode build 73 is now ready for download from the usual place ..

DMRDecode Download

New features include mobile side and direct (simplex) DMR decoding. Note that although this works I'm still not happy with the speed from the frame acquisition code and this still needs a lot of work.

As ever comments and bugs to this forum please.

Thanks for your continued great work on this project Ian. I can confirm accurate decoding of colour code on mobile subscriber DMR signals. While the DCC is displayed in the lower window, is there a chance of adding the decoded DCC to the quick log / log file to a future release?

Cheers

Glad it is all working for you and thanks for the kind words.

Do you want it so that if a DCC is found on the mobile side or on a direct (simplex) link then that is recorded in the quick log ?

I think it would be good in both logs if possible: I don't think it appears in either atm. I just get the series of DMR Voice Frame (MS) so far. In DSD+ the DCC appears as a set of 3 DMR MS DATA CC=x VOICE Header strings on call initiation and a DMR MS DATA CC=x TLC string on call termination.

In due course if it were possible to add decoding/logging of source and destination ID's that would also be fantastic.

Let me know if you need anything tested.

Thanks again for all your work on this......you have made an enormous contribution to DMR decoding, and to a large extent kept scanning alive IMHO.

Hello Jim

I think you might have just been unlucky. The frame acquisition code isn't brilliant and I reckon 50% of frames are missing in MS/Direct mode. But monitoring a mobile side channel with users about 5 miles from me a short while ago I saw ..

18:10:15 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:10:17 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:10:25 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:10:26 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
Group Address : 1015 Source Address : 16448250
Service Options : Non-emergency/No priority
Group Voice Channel User LC
Slot Type : Colour Code 8 Terminator with LC
18:10:28 DMR Data Frame (MS)
18:13:41 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:13:51 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:13:51 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:13:52 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:13:52 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:14:09 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:14:09 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:14:10 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:14:10 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:14:10 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:14:11 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
18:14:11 DMR Voice Frame (MS)
Group Address : 1015 Source Address : 16448250
Service Options : Non-emergency/No priority
Group Voice Channel User LC
Slot Type : Colour Code 8 Terminator with LC
18:14:11 DMR Data Frame (MS)

So mostly voice frames but some data also.
