Members,

Need a little help determining activity, usage and PL (CTCSS / DPL) for Jenkinson’s at the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. I have noticed additional frequencies not listed in RR database but are listed on 2 FCC licenses for Jenkinson’s.
WNSN675 Jenkinson’s South Inc.
151.6550
151.9250
154.5700

The emission for this license is 20K0F3E standard 20Khz FM
More interestingly is their new license
WPRL947 Jenkinson’s Inc
151.49750 Repeater Output
151.73750 Repeater Output
151.79750 Repeater Output

154.4825 Direct or Simplex Unit to Unit
159.54750 Repeater Input
159.77250 Repeater Input
160.10250 Repeater Input

I am surmising this based on info presented in the license data. As to what the actual frequency pairs are for the repeater outputs is unknown (what goes with what). It’s all narrowband FM 11K2F3E for analog voice.

However, what is stated in the license data could all be “BS”, once licensed they can be using MotoTRBO…

So any help on this business would be helpful. Forgive me if this is a repeat thread or has been stated elsewhere in the forums.

Thanks in advance:D!

No Turbo for the near future, all licensing is on a 90 day hold for evaluation, and possible denial because of on channel and adjacent channel interference from Turbo emissions. One could hope that the FCC blocks all Turbo until a suitable solution is found, but I doubt Moto will stand for that. It is an election year and who knows what goes on behind closed doors.

Thanks for the TURBO note. However, Need someone close by to monitor these frequencies for awhile to determine usage. I is just to far away here in NNJ to monitor my self. Next week I'll be in the area to do some listening. But until then any help is appreciated.

OK, trying to figure this all out and getting more confused by the minute. The Jenk's South (arcade) frequencies WNSN765 haven't changed and I'm hearing activity on the old "boardwalk" channels but now here I see a slew of new ones, or at least none I'm familiar with. So, did they change assignments or add to them or both? Sometimes agencies shuffle the deck like Lakewood now dispatching on channel 2.

I'll give a listen to those new Jenkinson's S(outh) Pavilion 4 digit "splinter" frequencies to see what's up but I'll hang fire on the standard channel ones until someone can help me figure out certain discrepancies. For example I have the main pavilion on 151.4975 and here the rides are on 151.490 with the same PL tone. Wolf, if I had some idea of what name(s) Jenk's registered with the FCC or callsigns I might be able to sort it out frequency wise, the guesses I made drew a big fat blank.

Jenkinson's a Work in Progress/Fact Finding

Since I posted my initial query that start this thread with frequencies currently listed on the two FCC License, Wolf supplied some additional frequencies. Some of which are rounded off versions of the splintered VHF frequencies and few "newer" MURS or not licensed frequencies.
So we have something to start with. The next stage is for a few people who are closer than I to start and monitor to see what really up currently. The info is in the DB under Ocean County business/amusements. If there are errors to frequencies, usage, CTCSS/PL DPL, please post and make a submission to RR and I or another DB admin person will make the change.
Consider the Jenkisons info gathering as fact finding and work in progress.

And since Warren KB2VXA is right in town who better to gather the info:)! Unless its a nice beach day or fishing day....

Thanks to Wolf and others who have submitted information and frequencies so far including Warren:D!

I'm only a few blocks away but there's only so much I can do, that's why I asked for license information. If some are rounded off splinter frequencies that's a GLARING error that could put my receiver far enough off frequency to make them un-receivable. Maybe that's why I'm not hearing much, then too my crappy indoor antenna doesn't like 2W portables.

Eh, even if my 2M HT were working (battery packs FUBAR and nobody heard of Azden) and I set it to scan Jenk's it wouldn't do any good. For one thing I'm never in the mood to PAY to get on MY OWN BEACH and fight it out with the bennies, and fishing would put me just as far away on the OTHER side with a rubber duck antenna... phooey. (;->)

Yeah it's a start, but getting the frequencies straight would help, license info PLEASE?

Warren,

When I received some of the "newer" frequencies I corrected them when i saw they came very close to licensed frequencies.

This is all that I have as licensed for Jenkinsons

WNSN675 Jenkinson’s South Inc.
151.6550
151.9250
154.5700
The emission for this license is 20K0F3E standard 20Khz FM

More interestingly is their new license
WPRL947 Jenkinson’s Inc
151.49750 Repeater Output/ 159.54750 Repeater Input
151.73750 Repeater Output/ 159.77250 Repeater Input
151.79750 Repeater Output/ 160.10250 Repeater Input
154.4825 Direct or Simplex Unit to Unit

I am surmising this based on info presented in the license data. It’s all narrow-band FM 11K2F3E for analog voice.

I've been listening to the South Arcade frequencies for several years (the Arcade is open year round) but because transmissions are very few and far between I never figured out specific usage if any. Then I heard one brief transmission on one of the new frequencies so at least one if not all are in use. I heard some activity on "The Wolf List" last weekend and from what I gather at least some are correct as to frequency and usage. I hope he shows up with some license info, it would make this in search of the lost chord go a lot quicker if I knew I'm scanning the right frequencies. Frustration makes me Moody Blue. (;->)

You have a remote receiver here in The Beach? (;->)
