So I guess as long as I'm hearing something from post 2, I'm hearing what I'm going to hear is what you are saying. I get good reception.
Thanks. I don't know why I'm not hearing anything from post 3 but I'm not all that too concerned with that. I like hearing everything from KSP 2 and the local stuff in Todd Co. Now if I could figure out why I can't get anything out of Montgomery County, TN.
Thanks again for your help.
KSP post 11 sounded like that some today also but all is normal. Only one thing to note though they have some new dispatchers now and some new troopers in the post 11 area. The woman dispatcher said Richmond one time so I guess she is a transfer to London from Richmond post. Also NEW ksp unit #'s so I assume they have relocated some as unit 333 ust to work for post 10 now working for post 11
I hope your right but i have a feeling they can now encrypt from what i have been hearing,I have a psr 600 and Never heard this before,I have a perfect signal and it's happening again today it sounds like encryption to me both sides are in bits and pieces and when they go back in the clear there are no complaints from either side about there radio's,I hope i am wrong but i don't think i am..
I have been listening to Post 8 and Post 14 for the past few day and there is no indication of encryption. Nothing major going on though.
Have you noticed it since your post?
Heard it today post 14 453.550 Same sound as with post 9 just bits and pieces..Cant swear that its encryption but sure sounds like it...
Did it have 195 NAC?[/QUOTE Just checked my log yes nac 195..signal is great here and both units were broken horribly or encrypted
I've got my PSR-500 locked on manual. I'll leave it there for a few days and see what happens.
I know the post commander at Columbia. I'll send him an email and see if he can confirm or deny encryption.
Does anyone use the PRO-106 to monitor KSP with? If so, does it monitor them well? Radio Shack is running a pretty good sale, so I was considering buying it, particularly if I got positive feedback about it. I bought a PRO-2096, and it works well, but, in order for it to reliably 100% decode all of the time on KSP's traffic, I have to have the priority on. Otherwise, when a trooper hits the 10-8 or 10-97, etc. button on his mic, the scanner will not decode the digital transmission. I was wondering if the PRO-106 does this?? By the way, I live in the post 16 area (if that makes any difference).

I was listening to posts 4, 5 and 12 this past weekend and I didn't hear any encryption,
