Anyone heard much from KSP in Post 3, specifically Warren County? Two different scanners I have not been picking up any traffic on their digital channels for a while. I am hearing communications on several other non digital channels.

Could they have possible changed the NAC codes on the repeaters?

I have double checked my settings and cannot find anything wrong. In addition, I am able to hear the neighboring counties just fine. But I cannot hear the Warren County Repeater. Talked to some people at KSP Post #3 (who deal with the radios, not the dispatchers) and they were not aware of any changes. Anyone else having the same issues? This is happening on two different scanners.

Ben;
Not getting any Warren Co transmitters. Getting other surrounding counties ok for Post 3 as well as Posts 4, 15, and 16

Just had Post 3 put out a BOLO on the Warren County transmitter. Only transmission from this site so far.

Might help to just do a general scan sometimes of the UHF freq with just an automatic decode of the audio. At Post 14, i was able to find a few freqs that aren't listed in RR. Just a thought.

Post 3

Noticed that the Post 3 transmitter here in Warren County (453.725/nac285) seems to be working fine now.

KSP Post 4 "B" Channel Xmitter, Cloverport

I am no longer able to receive Post 4 xmissions from Cloverport. Two months ago, I could receive "B" channel xmissions on a handheld sitting in my house. Now unable to receive anything using a yagi pointed at the site at 40 feet. Have they changed equipment, antennas at site? New frequency at that site? I now have to catch Post 4 traffic off the Ekron site which is much farther away... Any comments?

Dispatch, you might do a search between 453.0000 and 454.0000 AND 460.0000 and 461.0000.... Let us know what you find...
wconn, sorry, I missed your original post.... Could you submit the new freqs you found? Thanx...

Read some of my posts above. Similar thing happened to me a short time ago in Post #3. After a week or so the signal was back. Not sure what happened. I would hear post #3 on other counties frequencies just not the one I lived in strange. Could be replacing equipment and they take down a site for a time.

I agree that is strange... The Cloverport site broadcasts for Post 4 and Post 16. Previously Post 4 traffic was load and clear but xmissions of Post 16 traffic were extremely weak. I'm wondering if they switched the xmitters for 16 and 4. I will continue to monitor and plan a short road trip to Cloverport to determine any Post 4 signals. Unitcharlie...I have conducted some searches but no frequencies were found...

Have both Posts 4 and 16 "A" and "B" channels programmed. Hearing Post 16 but not Post 4. I'm only able to hear Post 4 on Ekron site from my home.

Hearing Post 16 dispatches from my work location on handheld radio. No joy with Post 4.
Previously, I could hear Post 4 and not Post 16 from work...

All of Post 3s Warren Co freqs were down for several days. I had to listen to ajoining county KSP towers to get anything. If it hasn't been mentioned yet, If you are using the NAC try turing it off see what happens, if you haven't already. Could be doing work on transmitters or towers. Keep us posted.

Hello everyone, I'm new here, but not new to scanner-listening. I just got a Radio Shack Pro 197 scanner to hear KSP and live on the Post 2-Post 3 border. The only frequency I ever hear any KSP transmissions on is 460.4375 and they are mostly talking about Hopkins County (I live in Todd). The file I downloaded into my scanner from RR included Todd and Christian Co. repeaters but I never hear anything on those. Is this normal? Like I said, I have been listening to scanners for years, but this is my first digital experience. Any help would be appreciated.

You should be hearing Post 2 on 460.4125 when in Todd Co. All of the "B" frequencies for post 2 carry the same traffic. Depending on where you're at, depends on what frequency you should be on.
