Anyone familiar with the 13xx folks??

Never heard a 13xx unit voice identify on the radio, I've only ever heard a Post Dispatcher acknowledge a status button press.

A few new sites have been granted.

ULS License - Trunked Public Safety 700 MHz License - WSJR974 - KENTUCKY, COMMONWEALTH OF

ULS License - Trunked Public Safety 700 MHz License - WSJR973 - KENTUCKY, COMMONWEALTH OF

ULS License - Trunked Public Safety 700 MHz License - WSJR941 - KENTUCKY, COMMONWEALTH OF

ULS License - Trunked Public Safety 700 MHz License - WSJS787 - KENTUCKY, COMMONWEALTH OF

WSJR941 and WSJR973 are sharing the same frequencies at both sites on each license, simulcast??

Odds are high that is what is going to happen.

I got an idea for you go to work for Motorola and you will have 1st hand information.

Also FCC listing and sites being built are normally over a year apart.
There are sites listed in West Ky that have been FCC listed for 2 years and not built yet.
It will happen when it happens Wishing Whining and Ranting will not make it happen any faster.

If they are reporting the site to the FCC as built, it's likely the site has been built. If it's been turned up yet or not is another thing.

They have abandoned the build out from west to east and are now attempting to get sites in each post that will have the best coverage built first and then they will come back with fill-in sites to improve coverage.
