I had TG 133.

Hard to believe that's the only Sheriff TG that had been discovered.

I've lost everything except BOE-PD and bits and pieces of Macon/Bibb Fire. Something has been changed in the system. I am not hearing Sheriff Office. Sign me Not a Harris Fan !!!!

Yeah, that's probably it, I probably remembered the 2xx incorrectly. Either way, if you're looking for more, put your radio on search and submit your findings. We'd love to hear what you find.

I'm not sure how that's all going to work now though, being one department and all.

I don't think we can blame Harris for anything right now, it's just that we don't have a very good handle on everything that's been moving lately. So the database can, as much as we try, get out-of-wack. After all, we don't have any official information sources for any of this data, it's almost all up to local users to spend time figuring out what's what and then submitting that back to the website for inclusion.

I've been listening to the fire department on the Harris system and everything there is great.

I sure would do that, but I only work in Macon about once a month, for a few hours at a time.

I appreciate all the time and effort you and others put into ensuring we can monitor these things.

It is really nice and loud and clear.

I sure hope the SO doesn't blanket encrypt when they swap over. There was a story in the Macon Telegraph several months ago that the Sheriff indicated they probably would.

Ok we have about 2-3 topics on this same issue. Lets try and stay in one topic,or create a new one so that we can stay on pace.

So far,I can only hear FD. I cant even hear the engineering department

Talk group

Is there a current list of talkgroup ID's. It seems like the 3603 etc are Apco numbers. I put a wildcard in the scanner but only seem to pick up bits and pieces. I guess I need to try to orient the antenna for the new system if I can figure out the talkgroups. Good grief Charlie Brown !

Did you say you're using the PSREdit software to configure your scanner? I don't have access to the software at the moment, but you should be able to select a tab along the top that's something like "Trunking Systems". Select the Macon/Bibb system, and then in the area below, right click and select "New Talkgroup". Then enter the 5 TGIDs (talk group IDs) that "maw" gave above. Come up with names on your own - i.e. - 100 is probably "Dispatch", 102 - "Channel 2", etc..

Im using it,and have been messing with it for a while now. I just have to plug it in and wait for an unspecified amount of time and see if i pick anything up.
