So I’ve been listening to the Montgomery County Simulcast site a lot, surprisingly it has a far reach into Frederick County going north and west passing Jefferson. What’s noticeable is that I’ve only heard certain agencies. A little less than what I had expected. I know it’s all about roaming with this entire system but I also thought that some nearby sites connected with one another and you would hear that traffic as well.

What I have not heard
1. MSP Rockville
2. MSP from any PG barrack

What I have heard everyday
1. U of MD Police (odd but okay)
2. DNR Area 3/4
3. Chart Area 3/7
4. MSP Frederick
5. Syscom
6.ICC PD ICC and Nice Bridge (Charles)
7.ICC Maintenance

Hearing a new talkgroup 7577 on the PG Site, sounds like DNR.
Likely a State Park Ops or Admin Talkgroup. According to my notes in 2019 (long time ago), a Tuckahoe unit was active on it.

Any call signs used on it? Seneca Creek State Park Staff I believe uses 5xx. Southern MD parks use 4xx.

While minoring the Montgomery County Simulcast site via unitrunker I’ve noticed a few grants via College Park MSP but never hear audio. I have not seen Forestville at all. Anyone else noticing this ?

Forestville is still sharing with College Park right now.... You'll hear "L" units quite frequently. It's the patch from the county system.

We hear the MSP College Park tg and UMD College Park tgs on the Anne Arundel site all the time, but that might be a product of the ISSI linking between the PG County system and the FIRST Baltimore and AACo sites. When I'm in PG, I still see UMD College Park on the county system, as well as SHA Chart.

Perhaps MSP are still on the county systems. Historically, it has taken a while before the state police fully transition to FIRST.
