1645- CapEx 315 (C-130T # 165315 VR-53) working Ops (328.4) on approach to ADW.
I caught them on 118.95 saying it was a maintenance flight.

CornHere’s a question for the McGuire locals or any in the know. Now that the KC-10s are sadly retired do I need to keep the old VHF tanker freqs in my radio or is everything UHF with the 46s? Thanks.
If I am not mistaken the 108th ARW NJ ANG have turned in their KC-135's in or to other units and are now only flying KC-46's using the 305th aircraft. Their last aircraft went to 101st ARW Maine ANG.Here’s a question for the McGuire locals or any in the know. Thanks for this post. Caught these two on extensive air to air chat on their way North using AR-62 Primary 242.05 from 1452-1520z. They spent the whole time trying to figure out the timing and routing to meet the Bones at the correct time. Sounds like there was a time mix up and they were cutting corners to shave off time within the route. Eventually worked out an ARIP time of 1651z. Their plan was to fly towards the Bones nose to nose, then do a 360 in front of them for timing. CAGE 31 advised 32 that the callsign may have changed. Look out for BOLD, NIFTY, or OZZY.KC46s: CAGE31/32 were up north. AR62(W) ScheduledView attachment 151348View attachment 151347

Yeah some local Ham radio ops commented yesterday that daytime bands like 15 meter (21Mhz) have been wide open at times.
