Not sure if this is true in your case...

I have a few frequencies in the 138.0 - 144.0 and 148.0 - 150.0 range in my scanner.

Occasionally I will receive RFI on those frequencies. I get hits on them with weird hum and, at times, sounds like whoever is talking is off frequency.
I did verify the transmissions on a BCT-15X I have, but I guess I was getting tired and didn't mention that. I also checked on the adsbexchange and there were 2 helicopters operating relatively nearby at the time, I'm not sure what squadron they're from, but the callsigns (both TRDNT11) would seem to indicate that they're from HSC-9. I can't be sure it was them, lots of aircraft in this area don't broadcast ads-b(the F-22s from Langley and many if not most of the Navy aircraft.), but it seems likely. I'm certain that part of the transmissions were in FM, but again, I was getting tired, dealing with 2 different scanners just trying to hear what I could of both sides of the conversation, so I'm not positive that one side was AM.

It a AXIS PTZ camera mounted 10 feet off my roof. 32 x optical zoom

Dover is about 25 miles away as the crow flies. Conditions were excellent yesterday for seeing distant objects - I could actually see the Dover AFB fuel farm from my upper deck with my eyes. There was a lot of heat coming off the roof but here is what the fuel tanks looked like from the roof cam. The red line I added shows the water line of the horizon.

It's only been a couple of times, during small exercises, usually with an air controller component, that I have heard the A2G comms be on the same freq, with the wrong mod, once even with the aircraft on a VHF civ freq in FM. They were changing up freqs dynamically or using them in one off situations and it seems they actually had user-selectable modulation radios in the C-27J. I found this out cause they were so close, right overhead, it bled thru, on I think my PRO668, badly enough I knew exactly what was going on.

All to say your situation doesn't seem all that unlikely to me.

Looks like KBGR will see some Buffs later today.

SALVO11 DIverting for fuel instead of AR62
Maybe tankers cancelled or delayed? Notice today's Res up at AR-62W has times pushed back 5 hours
to 2300z-0230z. Maybe some mech problems.
Also added another Res for same tomorrow at 1800z-2130z assume second wave.

VP TFR for Los Angeles cancelled but nothing from VP office saying trip cancelled yet. Maybe reissue with new times, or staying in DC until bill to keep government open passes.

VP office issues updated schedule removing LA trip from the schedule, about 2 1/2 hours after it was reported here. :)

Atlantic City scraps airshow for 2025 as well.. I thought they might try a weekend show instead.
Seems ever since T-Birds and Blue Angels said no more Wednesday airshows. :(
Atlantic City Airshow canceled for 2025, organizers hope for 2026 return
At least McGuire and Harrisburg are on track to host their shows in May 2025, but still a bummer. T-Birds at McGuire weekend of 5/17 and Viper Demo Team in Harrisburg the following weekend. Other acts will be announced as the dates approach.

Last time I went to McGuire airshow was in 2012 to see the B-1's from Dyess.
One did flybys while another was static display and of course I got chance to climb the ladder into the cockpit :)
