Hi, I'm still receiving Berrien on my BCD396T and I am pretty sure that's Phase 1 only.
If wrong, I'm certain I will be corrected. (by Hit Factor)
You should for a while as well. The move to simulcast doesn't automatically make the site traffic Phase 2. I believe only Oakland County is using Phase 2 capabilities currently. I anticipate it will remain that way for some time, but slowly change as the non-phase 2 capable radios on the system start to age out.

Further back in this thread it was mentioned that the Watervliet site was part of the Berrien County simulcast implementation. I have heard this is not the case, and that they will be done in the first quarter of 2025.

I guess the only way to confirm this is if someone is in range of the site and is seeing a different control channel frequency than the simulcast site?

A friend of mine who has a home in Allegan County and here in Illinois went through that area with his SDS100 and GPS before the database was updated, and told me everything went silent through Berrien County, since the simulcast site went on line. He takes 131 to 94 to the Indiana state line. He updates his database regularly and will be doing so tomorrow so he has the new site information.

Was in Watervliet yesterday and the original site was coming in loud and clear.
Obviously not part of the simulcast system as of yet.
