SDS100/SDS200: Need help with NXDN

Hi I just purchased a sds100 and bought the upgrade key for NXDN, I programmed it off radio reference to Sentinel for businesses and law enforcement in my area using it. My question is when I'm on NXDN my scanner searches sites when it locks in it shows red light and channel name id and stuff but I don't hear anything, it stops on a channel but hear no talking is it something I haven't done or what..seems like I should hear way more talking..please help me. Or tell me how to download it right..thanks

Post a link to your county and the nxdn freqs you speak of. If your in Mobile County I do not see law enf or business using nxdn.

did u enter the ran and lcn for each frequency on each site?

Some frequencies do not have a LCN set to them, but most have and also RAN so you should hear a lot. But there's only one single TG 433 programmed in the list so you will have to use IDSearch in the system settings to hear anything from their communications.

When you receive a TG you push enter to store it in the scanner. Then try and write down what that TG are used for and then read the scanner and edit the TG's you have saved to have a name that refers to what they are used for. You can set the scanner to manual record and it will save all communications that you then can listen to at a later stage when evaluating the system and editing TG's
