Netcong would be the nearest subsite to you. While it's possible that there is an issue at that subsite, it's pretty unlikely. If you're getting a strong signal that the SDS recognizes as a control channel (DAT) with no activity/decoding, something else is probably going on. Is the SDS the only device you own that you can check with? Are you having any trouble with the Morris County (4BA) 700 cell, or is that decoding fine with the SDS? I would suggest either driving north towards the Bowling Green subsite in Jefferson, or east towards the Randolph subsite, to rule out any weirdness with the Netcong subsite.

Well I went to the Wawa on 15 in Jefferson and no change with Morris County site. I was picking up West Orange site surprisingly since I didn’t expect that range. Now I’m curious if anyone who monitors Morris County site is receiving any traffic.

Well, I am, as I showed you earlier. Not only have Unitrunker decoding the cell perfectly, but I'm also running SDRTrunk on that cell and getting perfect voice comms.

If you drove all the way up to Jefferson and still don't get any decoding, then we can rule out an issue with the Netcong subsite, as you would've had strong signal from the Bowling Green subsite up there. I know for a fact that the Bowling Green subsite is fully operational with no issues, so we can rule out a system/site issue at this point.

If one or both of your SDS are receiving the Morris County (4BA) system just fine, and are also receiving the NJICS West Orange cell just fine...then the issue would seem to be the programming of the NJICS Morris cell. I understand that you already cleared it out and redownloaded it, and that it was working fine until recently, so I'm a little baffled myself at this point.

First and foremost, thank you for your patience and your suggestions. After hours of frustration and swearing. I removed both storage cards and reformatted them, then completely deleted the entire NJICS system once again. Cleared user settings, and user data. Then I started completely fresh and downloaded everything again. As of right now whatever the glitch was, and I wish I knew what it is, is gone and I am receiving site 58 once again.

ive tried to check every setting etc on both of my sds100 scanners i cant pick up nj state police or nj interoperability im willing to try anything am i missing a setting or something in the scanner never had issues before picked up njsp on phone app last night thank you

Where are you located? Is their a NJICS system close by you can pick up?

try resetting your user settings on the SDS 100. I had a very similar issue recently and could not pick up my normal site 58. Tried everything including deleting and reinstalling the system without success. Once I reset the user settings everything worked like before.

I am not able to receive any transmissions on the NJSP simulcast site. I have all Central and South TG's (GS Parkway patrol) entered. I was able to receive on the old Bordentown simulcast site on Route 37 in Toms River, but when they switched to the Burlington/Ocean sites I lost the transmissions. I am getting full bars on the strength meter. I am using a Uniden BCD996P2. Am I missing something or is it just the fact that the BCD996P2 is a sucky scanner ?

Which simulcast site are you trying to scan, specifically? There are multiple simulcast sites in the NJICS.
