The will be coming off of the LTR system. I don't know of any simulcasts planned.

In getting ready for Newington to move to the P25 Santa got me a new Diamond D3000N Antenna, which hopefully I will put on the roof tomorrow. :)

I would expect that they would keep some way of talking to units coming in for mutual aid probably on the VHF or one of the LTR UHF channels.

Well I was force to pick up a SDS200 as I learned that EMS is not moving to Digital. And SDRTrunk will not pull in that analog frequency that EMS is on.

Also had a Diamond D3000N antenna installed on the roof, without even hooking up to the new antenna the SDS-200 picks up the New Britan CLMRN feed a lot stronger than the SDRTrunk

I am running it currently just pulling in the Newington Fire Digital Simulcast and the New Britain Fire Department.

Currently have it up and running at Welcome to Scott's Server using Proscan.

Now just waiting for the Newington Project to get the needed Firmware Update.

So for the time being I will keep that feed I listed above up. :)

I didn't find your Server in the Published ProScan directory. Can you add it sometime... Thanks

No. Its only up for testing. I am just airing one town (New Britain) that has a lot of traffic plus Newington's Digital Fire Simulcast which is just up for testing by the town so I can get setup for the cutover which should be happening soon.

Once Newington moves to P25 I will take it down and only feed to Broadcastify.

What is EMS going to do for radios then if they're not moving to CLMRN.

Looking over the Fire department minutes they are now hoping for July or August to have a fully operational system.

Yes, there is some kind of firmware update that they need to roll out to the entire CLMRN network to get the new Newington radios online.

I had a meeting with the person in charge of the move two weeks ago about this.

Latest from Newington from the Fire Chief.

"Radio System Update- Chief Trommer, hope by next Tuesday everything will be approved and testing will actually begin. All town departments will be doing some testing just to make sure everything is correct in the system. Will have two weeks of testing. Once testing is done production will begin which means installation of radios. Moving in a positive direction. New lease agreement still needs to be signed with Callahan site. Still hoping for full system town wide by September. Current system is having major problems"

They are supposed to start testing this week. I have been monitoring with SDRTrunk and haven't seen anything yet.

I am now told that ALL Newington departments will moving to CLMRN except for the School System and EMS which will remain on Analog.

I am also told that the Newington feed will be transmitted from both New Britain and now also Troop H in Hartford. This will cover the entire town.

They were looking at going on the Callahan town off the Berlin Turnpike, but with Fred Callahan's passing it appears that will not happen now.
